This is the closest McDonald's to me my wife likes strawberry shakes for the past two years I can honestly say that McDonald's basically hardly ever has the shake machine in working order supposedly it's not working very often. Unfortunately McDonald's is the only place around your other than Sonic which by the way although privacy is a very good shape back still carry the strawberry flavor as Burger King no longer does which is a disappointment as well. They tend to give food that's been in the holding station what seems to be after it should have been taken off and disposed of the biscuits are hard the fries are stale and customer service generally has fallen over the past two years if you go in basically as with most places these days you're going to wait you're going to be ignored all because they give priority to the drive-thru and not to dine-in customers I am very sad to get this review as I've tried to wait over the past two years to see if it would improve and unfortunately it has not
This is the slowest and most disorganized McDonald's I've ever been to. Drive thru wasn't moving so went inside, ended up being even worse. 35 minutes for a coffee and a quarter pounder, kinda defeats the purpose of stopping at a McDonald's. The people working here seem as inept as they get, can't seem to do a simple job and were giving attitude to customers in line.
On our way home to Foley, we stopped at the This place, kids were hungry,they got their chicken nugget meals, which came with French fries, I ordered the Crispy chicken sandwich, the order board showed lettuce n tomato, the cashier order taker was very blaise' , we got our bags, pulled off. No napkins, no ketchup in the bags and my sandwich was dry as all get out, no sauce, 2 small-A pickles and it was not crispy! I ended up tossing the bun and just ate most of the floppy chicken,it was not crispy. I will go to my local McDonald's n check out how it should be very soon.
I typically go to this McDonald's. But I won't again. I went inside and it had a urine smell all over the restaurant. I don't know if they mopped the bathroom and then didn't clean the mop as they mopped the rest of the place, but that smell alone made me not want to eat there. Besides this, there were french fries all over the floor and straw wrappers. Just disgusting. Also, an employee used the bathroom, but didn't wash her hands. I'm extremely disappointed in this place. I won't be back to this location unfortunately.
Dined in with six year old grandson. First time I had been inside a McDonalds in many years. They were very busy at drive thru and inside. School had just let out. Bathrooms were clean! Staff welcomed us and took our order promptly. Food was brought to table before I could get a coke. Pleased with fish sandwich. Kids meal was devoured and got a neat toy.
This place is ridiculous. They can have five people in the back and see you and still ignore you. Had to holler for someone and they still ignored me. Then when I finally got my food they were rude. I understand having bad days but everyday is ridiculous. If the employees don’t like their job they should do something else. Or put up a wall so we don’t have to see their attitudes.
If staff focused on front-line as much as they did drive-thru it be a great experience! Customers don't care if you make drive thru times we just want our food in timely manner! Also, the kiosk doesn't count as a employee upfront. Some customers can't use them!!
When it takes 9 plus minutes to get a double cheeseburger, can we really call it fast food anymore?! The sad part is the place wasn't that busy...I will say the young lady at the counter did keep asking/telling the back she needed a double cheese.
The food was good after they finally got my order right. I didn't know mcdonalds had changed their quarter pouder meat. Will not be ordering that again. I gave two stars because of the service and wait.
I know this McDonald's in athens al usually gets the worst reviews and has some bad moments, but let's face it who doesn't, well today 3/17/2022 around 4:50 - 5:30 pm i took my kiddos for dinner and it was PACKED ! Like I'm talking about the dinning room, and the drive thru was wrapped around the building. So we went in and i ordered on one of the kiosks then realized i didn't have my debit card so i had to pay at the register, well the whole time i was ordering i could hear the only cashier( EMPLOYEE) !!!!! COMPLAINING ABOUT ALL THE GUESTS IN THE RESTAURANT...... he was saying everytime a guest would walk in " People stop coming in gees" !!! I was like really... then everytime he was asked anything he would humph and complain.... then a young man that had ordered through the app that had been waiting a while walked up to the employee at the register and very nicely i may add can i get a refund for an app order that is paid for bc i need to go and the employee huffed and puffed and turned around and yelled the question out and then turned around and said no we can't then ignored the young man ... later on the same employee walks over to the kiosk orders food then walks up to a dirty table looks at and out loud(very loudly) and says "NOPE AIN'T DOING IT WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE YOUR TRASH ON THE TABLE"..... then the employee walks over to the kiosk i assume to wait for his food and proceeds to fuss about how busy it was to a guest who was waiting on her food....... SAYING ALL THAT .... I DO WANT TO APPLAUD THE OTHER EMPLOYEES BC THEY REALLY WERE BUSTING THEIR TALES AND WERE VERY SHORT STAFFED TO ONLY HAVE ONE OF THEIR ACTING A FOOL .... I TOLD ANOTHER EMPLOYEE AND SHE SAID SHE TOLD HER MANAGER BUT SAID SHE DIDN'T THINK ANYTHING WOULD BE DONE SO CORPORATE REALLY NEEDS TO FIX THE PROBLEM BC SHE SAID THAT MALE EMPLOYEE WAS ACTING A FOOL HAD BEEN ACTING A FOOL ALL DAY A PREVIOUSLY DONE SO...... I TOLD THE FEMALE EMPLOYEE THAT I HADN'T HEARD ANY OF THE GUESTS IN THE RESTAURANT ACTING OR COMPLAINING AS BAD AS HE WAS . ... COME ON CORPORATE HE SOUNDS LIKE HE DIDN'T WANT TO BE THERE SO GO AHEAD AND TELL HIM TO QUIT OR FIRE HIM IF HE DOESN'T WANT THE JOB HE APPLIED TO WORK AT BC HE ISN'T DOING ANYONE A FAVOR BC HE ALSO LOOKED A MESS DIRTY UNKEPT AND HAIR ALL IN HIS FACE.
