Rule number one - when a place is empty during busy hours (lunch or dinner) avoid it like the plague. Stopped in at lunch, empty place. Didn't have some stuff on the menu. Placed an order. The potato salad tasted store bought, Mac and cheese was from a box. But the BBQ....it was sopping in water and tasted sour...like they squeezed 2 limes over it.I literally left with the meal, tried it in the car, and took the next exit to throw it all away.
Very clean fast service. Management was talking to employees with respect and professionalism. They had menu knowledge. Food was fantastic. Nice young man Miguel took the order. Girl named Lindsey handed out the food and let us know everything we had. Great experience.
Great food and wonderful service! Chicken was very tender and flavorful - pulled pork and white sauce hit the spot. This will be a favorite stop when traveling I-65 North. We will be back
We stop here on our way to/from Florida. It’s a great lunch/dinner spot when you’re on the road! Clean bathrooms and dining room, affordable menu options, and the most delicious ribs. Our kids devour their food from here, which is a big deal! ? The interior fishing-themed decor is so charming. Highly recommend trying Lawlers if you’re looking to stop for food off of Exit 351!
Read the reviews and wanted to give it a try. Had some questions about the menu, so I inquired of the low-energy kid at the counter (Brett?). "How are the ribs," I asked. "Depends on if you like meat," he responded. "They're not baby backs. "Well, then, what about the pulled pork," I tried again. "It's ok," he said. "Wow," I replied. "You're really not doing a very good job of selling me on your food." Just looking for a little help. If he worked for me, he'd be in the back serving up food and out of sight of customers. Glad we didn't walk out, because the food was delicious. Pulled pork was tender with a hint of smoke. Beans were tasty. Mac and cheese just ok. My wife enjoyed her baked potato topped with pulled pork. There were other good-sounding items on the menu; just don't ask Brett his opinion.
Simply excellent home style cooking. Very comfortable surroundings with friendly and efficient staff. John and staff give a lovely welcome and Lyn in the kitchen produces wonderful Food from Starters through to desserts. Food is produced pipping hot with a great varied of veg. served on dishes for self choosing. Wonderful desserts followed by coffee and mints. Great to be back and my friends are looking Forward to an early return. Book early to avoid disappointment.
Had ribs with sides and a pork sandwich for two of us. Ribs, pork, and sides were all great. Mac & cheese is noteworthy. Pecan pie wasn't house made but still did the job. Easy on and off the interstate.
First time to have a stuffed potato from there. Needed a little more sour cream & cheese, but was still very good ?
Clean restaurant, friendly staff, quick service and delicious food. We got ribs and pulled pork. Loved the unique coleslaw and sauce
I was very impressed with LawLers Barbecue. Flavorful and tender ribs and the pulled pork was delicious. The mac and cheese was ok and the baked beans were very good. Also the lady at the window was extremely nice. I wish I had some right now.
