I grew up going to Dubs Burgers with my grandfather , then my own kids and now I'm 61 , living in Huntsville riding about every other Saturday eating at Dubs . It's like part of my family and will continue to always have a Dubs Burger .
We really enjoyed the burgers and the prices. Down home, old-style burger joint. It would really be vintage with a drive through or car hop. Small menu, everything cooked in front of you and served hot.
Today was my first time eating a Dubs burger. I enjoyed it. Thank you to the staff for being kind and service was great.
I've eaten here twice, and both times were awful. The cheeseburgers are so greasy that I couldn't even eat it. So greasy that the bun was saturated in grease. It's like the entire burger was dipped in it. I'm not trying to be mean in my review, just honest.
The building where Dubs is located is old, a little shabby, and a bit on the tired side. So is the restaurant. So what? Ever seen Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives"? Bottom line, it may not look like a five star place but the burgers and fries are great, the people working their are super friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I'll take that any day, plus it's always great to support mom & pop businesses. So, if you're in the area and hungry, try Dubs - just check their hours to make sure they're open first, since mom & pop places don't keep the hours that chains do. If you like a good burger and fries, you'll be glad you stopped by.
Consistence in opening on time, consistent in their food; I just cannot take too much grease I've bought 2 burgers and both were cold, maybe I should have had lettuce tomatoes & mayo on side but clean & nice friendly atmosphere.
Not the cleanest place you'd wanna eat. But the people are friendly.I see nothing so special about a hamburger flatten with slaw and falling apart. Just depends on your likes and do not likes. Go judge for yourself.
Very good! We brought 15 family members in with us. They're in from Co. No complaints at all! Great food and great service.I am not a huge fan but that's my personal taste. I have a huge family from all walks of life and most of them love Dubs.It's a nice little hometown restaurant that welcomes everyone. The photos that hang around tell a story of Dubs and Athens. It's a place that you can go for many great memories and where you can make new ones with your children and grandchildren.Everyone was very pleased with our visit.We will always come back!
Delicious food. Good friendly service. Fun little homely atmosphere. Food was very fairly priced for what you get.
Pork, beef and bread crumbs....taste like all bread crumbs. No flavor and super dirty place, disgusting. This place should be shut down. Health dept., not doing their job. The grease, the dirt etc is horrible. Prices are way to high for what you get. Thus place and the new owners are Fired!
