So disappointing. #8 Spicy Peanut Satay Chicken soup very poor. Chicken was like hard rubber. Broth was ok but thin & far from the rich broth served elsewhere. Zero heat even after adding from condiment bowls.
The food here was very fresh, my bowl of pho tasted authentic. Their customer service was excellent. I would definitely come back here again.
While their noodlesoup and pho dishes are good, they lack portion with their rice dishes, the chicken needs abit revising but otherwise decent, overall pretty good food, just abit more tweaking with required, nice atmosphere and friendly staff, I enjoyed the visit
Gave it a 2nd chance after a really disappointing tasteless meal there a few years ago shortly after it opened. Tonight I ordered online and picked up. It was quick and ready as scheduled. Though I didn't eat in, the restaurant is neat and cozy. Easy to find parking. Staff were friendly and quick to respond.Food was mostly better than last time. We loved the spring rolls - as good as any we've had (good price for 4 rolls). Their Singapore style noodles was tasty with just the right amount of spice, considering I wasnt able to specify spice level. We were disappointed with the Tom Yum soup though. Extremely bland for a soup supposed to be spicy and flavourful. If there were chili's or lime juice in it we sure couldn't see or taste either. Good amount of vegetables and chicken. 2 lonely shrimp. Would not do over, even if we could specify spice level.Would we return or pick up there again? Yes, we just wouldn't get that soup. Will try satay soup next time.UPDATE: The restaurant responded to my review, asking for a 2nd chance and asking me to contact them. I did that because as I'd noted, there was good parts of our meal. They have offered us a free soup on our next order. We will absolutely try them again, as supporting your neighborhood, family businesses is important - for them, and for us! :)
We shared some spring rolls and salad rolls - both delicious. The salad rolls were very fresh and HUGE! I had the bun Bo hue and it was really tasty. My fiancée had the deluxe noodle bowl and it was HUGE! Lots of vegetables, meat topped off with a spring roll.
THE best Vietnamese in Saskatoon, without a doubt. Been eating there for years and never had anything resembling a negative experience there. Service is welcoming and friendly, and the food is outstanding!!!
Great food. Soup is delicious but the noodles could use some improvement. Waitress was really nice. The jazz music and the vibe were great! Thumbs up
I have been going here for five years. I would have been going longer if I knew it existed. This is my favourite place to get wonton soup, ginger beef and noodle bowls. However, everything I have had there is very good. Trust me, I have had almost everything on the menu! If you order ginger beef for delivery, I recommend asking for the sauce on the side. Keeps it crisp. My wife and I will often go in to eat. The daily specials are very reasonably priced. Noodle bowl for $6.95-$7.95 (I recommend upgrading the meat for the additional $1.50), which means both me and wife eat out for under $20, tip included. Sometimes if we want a little extra we will get the wonton soup or banh mi(charbroiled pork is a #1).I highly recommend this place!
pho, Vietnamese submarine, spring rolls are all delicious, at very reasonable prices, highly recommended
Been their many times !Fantastic food and service .One of Saskatoon's best asian restaurants for sure .A true hidden gem .
