Very disappointed in my visit to The Cave it did not live up to the reviews! Ordered French onion soup for some reason the server placed it in the middle of the table said something about thought we were sharing I reached out to move burnt my hand on the dish no warning of it being hot Yes I know I should’ve known that it was HOT but this wasn’t just hot it was ridiculously hot apparently they cook it in the pizza oven Strange thing though the soup inside of it was lukewarm ??? Also ordered the Chicken Souvlaki The chicken was dry and the rice had no flavour pretty much like steamed rice Best part of the meal was the Caesar salad As far as I’m concerned the Chicken Souvlaki was worse than you would get at the food court at the mall Actually spoke to the owner as I was leaving didn’t seem to really care much waitress did take the French onion soup off the bill though Must’ve feel bad ? So from what I can tell it’s hit and miss as to the quality of food you get at this restaurant And apparently the service now that I’ve read more reviews Eat here taking your chances !!!
I went to the cave last week, there was a fire at red lobster. we didn’t think they would have room for us with everyone rushing to find somewhere to eat but they were able to fit us in it was my daughters birthday I didn’t think they would have time to do anything special because of how busy it was but our server a young man by the name of Abraham still took the time to treat us special from the smile to the story’s he shared and the laughs despite how busy it was we got our drinks on time and our food quick ( the soup was so good) the cave really is unique and when we were ready to collect the bill and leave there Abraham was with a cake and candle to surprise my daughter he even sang happy birthday despite how busy it was. Abraham took good care of us I was so grateful for the amazing service I made sure to leave a deserving tip for the great experience I got!
The service was top notch. The ribs and the homemade starter soup were so flavorful. Definitely will return
We ordered the dinner for two, I can not begin to describe how good this meal was amazing!!! Steak, Lobster, Chicken, Ribs, Shrimp, Soup and Salad.... worth every penny!! The service was great, the waiter was happy and smiling the whole time. See you next time we are in Saskatoon!!
The Cave has been opened since the 1970s, which is quite remarkable. My first time at this establishment and we loved the different interior. Staff were extremely friendly, seeing how we came just an hour before closing. I had the fish and chips. Good portion and price.
Great food, fantastic survey, the most amazing and unique atmosphere! The prices are great, portions are generous. This was my favorite restaurant as a kid, and I'm so grateful to be able to share it with my girls as their favorite too!
The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was awesome!It is not waste for me to travel from Winnipeg to eat here! Definitely worth it!I could feel the passion from waitress, they tired their best to help us to order^^I will also recommend people who hasn’t try this restaurant to give a chance!
It was my birthday meal, and it came out to be totally disappointing! First, I highly doubt there are flees/bedbugs on the sofas there, both me and boyfriend’s legs were terrible itching when we were there! Service speed was terrible slow, and the waitress forgot whatever I asked for and didn’t show up after handed the menu to me. The steak came out as a burger and just has salty taste, Salty only! Salad has no taste at all, $5 in Superstore you could get 3 times more. Definitely would never be there again. Bread wasn’t warmed at all, and sweet fries overcooked and salty. I’m sorry to say that, but any fast food restaurant in Saskatoon got better taste than this! I really don’t want to pay tips as the customer service was terrible slow, and I got ignored. I won’t be back and I won’t recommend any of my friends and families to be there! I don’t know how this restaurant can be existed, but definitely never be back! I don’t understand why nobody telling the truth here?!
Best steak I have had in years! Love the atmosphere too! Glad they haven’t changed the interior at all. It add to the ambience.
Honestly…kinda disappointing. Went there for a birthday dinner and left disappointed.
