Awesome restaurant. The owner is very friendly and the staff are overall quite pleasant. The atmosphere is cool, with a rock and roll vibe. Not to mention, the Nashville fried chicken is amazing. My recommendations are chicken and waffles, or the 3-piece chicken meal with mac and cheese on the side. The prices are very reasonable for how great the food is. 5 stars and highly recommended.

I've never been here before until the other day. I was trying to find somewhere new for my mom and I to try and this place had lots of great reviews! Those reviews were right, the food was amazing. My mom loved her shrimp po boy and my spicy chicken burger was delicious! And the server was amazing as well! We will definitely be back!
Thanks to a Facebook ad I found out about this place. My husband and I were very pleased with the food and the service! I ordered fried chicken (3 pieces) with white gravy, greens, and pork and beans. He went with whatever the friendly server decided to choose for him (at his request), which was an alligator bites po'boy sandwich, potato salad, and mac & cheese. We were both very happy with our food, everything was delicious and the portions are big enough to leave us both full. We will definitely return and try other items from the menu!

I discovered this place from a friend who shared the story of this restaurant. I came in not knowing what to expect, and I was greeted with a big smile and welcoming staff. This is by far the best chicken I have had and I feel at home every time I sit down to eat here. It is a great atmosphere and I am more than willing to support a place like this. Far and away my favorite restaurant in the city! Go Tallayah's!

Have been following this place on Facebook and Instagram for quite awhile. Finally made it into town and was able to stop in, had the Louisiana Grilled Chicken Sandwich. It was fantastic!! Perfect amount of heat so you can enjoy all the other flavours and still have some kick to it. Hopefully on another weekend trip will be able to stop in and try the supper menu! Service was friendly and quick as well. Highly suggest you stop in, you won't regret it.
