Went there and ordered the birds nest, I had a couple bites then found a huge fly in the sauce. They offered to make a new one but I was already disgusted so I left.
Best dry ribs in the city. Fast and friendly service, one of the best Asian food places in town.
Great food as always. Portion size is getting smaller. I would rather pay more than have my meal shrink.
I ordered food there tonight, specifically with no onion or garlic due to an allergy, and still found a huge chunk of onion in the dish - despite them confirming this allergy was something they could work around.When I called to tell them, they argued and said that the kitchen didn't add onion, and that was it.Super disappointing service, and if you have an allergy, I would steer clear of this place, because they don't really care.
I am really disappointed with their service today, they could have made someone really sick. I ordered no onions/garlic due to an allergy, and found a huge chunk of onion sitting on top of the dish when I got home - despite specifically asking if this is something they could work around (which they said they could). when I called to tell them, they argued that the kitchen said they didn't put any in, despite me telling them that there is clearly a piece in the dish. I won't order from here again, which is a shame, I love their food, but if they can't bother to not watch for allergen when requested, then they don't need my business.
At first we raised an eyebrow at the slightly raised prices and the slightly smaller servings. But then a few other test delivery orders from other restaurants revealed this was a universal aftershock of the pandemic.SO, since Szechuan Kitchen makes some of the tastiest food in town, we did not hesitate to circle back to them! Their ginger beef is in the top three on my personal happy tastebuds rating (the other two aren't even in Saskatoon).At least 87% of our experience is via their efficient delivery service (now so much easier online!), so I haven't much to say about dining in at their restaurant. It's a small place without much to remark upon.
Generous portions of delicious food. Very good prices. My favorite place for vermicelli bowls. Highly recommended.
I’ve been a long-term customer and have usually have had a satisfactory experience. I attempted to order on the web site directly as opposed to Skip. After a tedious experience on the web site, the order was cancelled and I ended up using Skip. After two phone calls to sort everything out, the food was finally delivered and was dry and not fresh at all. I will probably give them one more chance but the last time was so disappointing.

We used delivery. Ordered online around 4, received an email in a timely manner indicating delivery would be in about an hour. Arrived at 4:45. Excellent quality, temperature. Just perfection. Spring rolls were excellent, the special Wonton Soup is probably the tastiest we have ever had. I hope this quality will be consistent as we will be ordering from here in the future.
