Excellent reviews do not mean a good restaurant. Multiple courses - all ordinary flavour - or less - and with the sense that they had been cooked before, and just reheated. So overcooked, and not much taste. Wine selection good, and service OK - but gave a feeling that the customer was less important than the restaurant's desire to control the booking and dining process. Might try again on basis of local reputation, but not on the basis of recent $500 meal.
The gnocchi is delicious! Mains are a good serving size, however the apps and deserts are small.
The ambience definitely needs work. The place could be laid out and designed better. It was very cold in there as well. The food was good but nothing special for the price that is attached to it. Dessert option could definitely use some assistance. Not a bad place for just a night out but not really a special occasion place. Price is not worth the food quality.
We were extremely impressed with Saint Tropez. The quality of food and service was very superior and our waitress was knowledgable about both food and beverages.
Great spot for a date night. Medium to high cost but flavour is worth it. As per usual the pricier places have smaller portions but with an appy and main I was able to fill up.
Nice little place, great ambiance. The menu had a good selection of food and drinks. Service was good, quick and very polite. The food was good, I got the duck, and the lentils and the roasted vegetables really shone. However the duck itself and the chokeberry sauce was very bland tasting. Was expecting some tartness from the chokeberries but found it didn't have much of a taste. The duck was cooked nicely but just didn't have a wow factor for the taste, I've had much better duck elsewhere. The lentils and vegetables were good but overpowered the duck. Overall nice experience, with good food but perhaps something else on the menu would have been even better.
Very nice, prices are extremely high as are all the restaurants right now. Gnocchi was very dry and forgettable.
