Terrible snooty service. . .poorly managed. Tried going a few times to see friends perform but just couldn't stomach it. On one night we went to a show here and they left the background music on while a band was trying to perform and no one was doing anything to fix it. Gong show sadly. Space is loaded with potential though. They book some decent acts but sadly can't return. Hopefully someone smarter/better takes it over down the road & does better.
Deep, dark and dungy with "ok" drinks, strange atmosphere, reasonable music and staff that doesn't really care if you're there or not.My kind of place! Always a good time
Was in town for a work trip, getting the vibes from the city and life here. Stumbled upon Penrose, so glad I did. It is a hidden gem to tourists (like me), but a well known legend for the locals.This spot is a full nightclub experience, with bottle service, full VIP seating, and live DJs.I rarely go to the same spot twice, but glad I did as Friday and Saturday did NOT disappoint.Met a lot of amazing people and the ownership/management is full service white glove hosts that welcome you and treat you well.Highly recommended.

NOT A HOOKAH LOUNGE. Was looking for a hookah LOUNGE and though this place was the top recommendation I was surprised to learn that they have never had hookah. Otherwise, a great lounge, comfortable and classy. The drinks were good. Staff was friendly and pleasant except for one person who tried too hard to get a bit too involved in the business of others. Nosy staff at a club never a good idea but otherwise a great experience.
Great place for drinks. Craft cocktails are very good. Food poŕtions are rather small though but tasty.

What a great place to stop by for cocktails when in Saskatoon. The menu is of a manageable size with a very nice selection to choose from, however the bartender will make drinks to your taste with spectacular results. Having had cocktails at high end bars around the world, Melody is up there with the best. We did not try the food but the offerings looked very good. My advice is to go at least twice.
Weird atmosphere. I’ve gone twice and that’s enough for me. Service was horrible, being in a small space you’d think they could see when my drink was empty... but apparently not.
Good place watch out for slippery floors
