I have never had service as amazing as the service we received last night. The food was amazing, the drinks were amazing, I highly recommend this little gem.
Would highly recommend for an evening out or special occasion. Food excellent!
Visited this restaurant with a friend for dinner. The setting is quite intimate, with a small dimly lit dining room. Our waiter, Don, was exceptionally accommodating and gave excellent recommendations. We started with the bruschetta and arancini (the arancini tasted amazing). And for dinner I opted for the Osso Bucco, which was very good. Large portions too (I couldn't eat it all!). I definitely will be back to La Cucina to try their pasta selection. This restaurant is a nice gem in downtown Saskatoon.
The polpettine was excellent, and the caprese salad is the best in town. I had the pappradelle and it was very good. My wife had the seafood risotto, it was way to spicy for her. It didnât say anywhere that there was pepper flakes in it. Shouldnât have to ask about spice level at an Italian restaurant. All in all, weâll be back but a spicy risotto was unexpected.
Restaurant was fantastic. A nice cozy atmosphere for dining, delicious food and Don (our waiter) was exceptional and amazingly accommodating. Great service all around and will definitely be returning to La Cucina next time I am in town.
We finally have an authentic Italian restaurant in our city! La Cucina is full of atmosphere from the classics playing softly in the background setting the mood, the excellent wait staff (Don was spot on with his recommendations) and the food...oh the food! Homemade bread to start, Risotto di Mare, Bistecca that was so tender you really don't need a steak knife...absolutely an impeccable evening. We both decided - this is our go-to-spot now for date nights. Eccellente!!!
My wife and I made our first trip after seeing such great reviews. La Cucina did not let us down. Very nice atmosphere, small with nice ambiance. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly, his recommendations off the menu were perfect. Appetizers were delicious, main course was very tasty, and the tiramisu was a nice desert to finish off the meal. I look forward to returning and trying some other dishes. The ribeye was different than any other ribeye I've ever had, cooked Italian style, very flavorful and filling.
La Cucina is a Saskatoon gem! The restaurant is romantic, the food outstanding, but most importantly the service and staff at La Cucina are exceptional. La Cucina is a treasure in Saskatoon, a must-try that will soon become an unforgettable favourite!
