Love their avocado toast, Louisiana chicken and waffle, cinnamon bun. Massive patio with good variety of drinks and food options. Highly recommend.
I visited Hudson's with friends recently and we had a great experience. We went early for lunch so the place was quite empty, which we liked. I ordered the Cobb salad and it was delicious! We shared a creamy buffalo chicken dip and it was also good - I dare say the chips were even better than the dip! For dessert I chose maple bacon mini donuts and it tasted like more! The server helping us was friendly and checked on us often. Overall a great time in a nice pub!
The food was good the atmosphere was good, but what made my evening was the cinnamon buns. Those blew me and my partner away. A great portion for 2 to 3 people and the fact that they were fresh out of the oven....I will definitely be back for those.
Visited for a drink and meal late Saturday afternoon. Took a long time before anyone approached us for any sort of service. The place was not busy, the patio was almost empty. One in our group noticed many people leaving shortly after arrival. I insisted on staying and the only saving grace was that the food we finally received was quite good! No offer of drink or water refills. No return for awhile for us.
Very good place for a beer and spend some time with friends and colleagues. Food was great.
Group beers on the patio and a second visit for lunch wings . Servers and bartenders were outstanding.
It's not often I write bad reviews, but the last couple visits haven't been great (last night was horrendous). I've been going to Hudson's off and on since it opened in Saskatoon, and the first few years, they arguably had the best service in Saskatoon for a bar/pub setting. Lately, it seems management has been lacking, as the bartenders weren't the most attentive, and our server last night was downright neglegent while standing at our table. She over charged my friend for a flight of drinks, only served my partner 2 out of the 3 beers for his flight, and never asked how she can rectify it, and then blatantly ignored me and walked away when I was going to order a drink. My partner ended up asking for another beer to complete his flight, and she brought him an entire pint, which at this point, we assumed she likely was going to charge him for the entire pint. I'm pretty understanding when it comes to people maybe having a bad day, or just not being on their game, but at the rate this girl was going, she never should have come to work if this was the case. At the end of our visit, I asked to speak to the manager, and the manager was apologetic and said it was the waitresses first time serving on her own. I told the manager this didn't excuse the fact that she was blatantly rude and uncooperative throughout our time there. I would also suggest that they don't make someone on their first shift alone, work on a Saturday during a playoff hockey game. In the past at Hudsons, I've had staff help rectify a problem by offering a drink on the house, or taking a percentage off the bill, but there wasn't any compensation for the awful service. I won't be going out of my way to return. I hope the waitress has a better understanding of her job in the days to come, as to not subject another group of customers to this, and I hope management improves their operations.
I had been in there for less than 5 minutes on a decent night. Got accused of touching someone - which I didn’t. They said I fit the description and was kicked out, the bouncers weren’t even allowing me to defend myself. Was trying to be respectful but a man can only handle some much BS, the bouncers are simps and walking bricks. Save yourself some time and go to divas
So far great service, payment options made easy, impressed.
We arrived late in the afternoon on a Saturday - not very busy. We had dinner and a pitcher of sangria, and then decided to have some drinks and watch baseball. As soon as we finished dinner, our water glasses were stripped and even as we ordered another round of drinks, our waiter asked what our plans were for the evening at Hudsons - were we going to stay and order more drinks? It was very apparent they wanted us out which really made me mad. It was getting busier but we still should have been able to enjoy the evening. Guess anyone over 25 is not welcome? Will take our business elsewhere in the future.
