Great ice cream, almost anything possible is made in house which is super cool. Great staff- can see a lot of new hires and how well management is working with them to handle those crazy nights. Love how supportive they are with the pride ice cream and Ukrainian flag all on display!
My first visit, was a little unprepared. So many choices, felt very rushed. A bit pricey, 5.50 for a cup and a half of ice cream. It was good, but I'll give it a pass next time. Cute patio for gathering.
The ice cream is just awesome !Definitely more$$ than a regular place but if you are in for a treat this is the place !Friendly staff but needs a better system to take orders faster, we were in line for aprox 15 minutes.
I was passing by this place just after 10:30am on Canada day 2022 and saw an individual at the door from the patio side. Asked from outside the patio fence if the place was open, and they just looked at me for a second or two, then quickly shut and locked the door.As a person of color, this experience offended me and ruined my morning. It’s definitely not representative of the friendly people of Saskatoon. I hope that in future, the staff here don’t treat anyone else like that.
Great place with dairy-free ice cream options that are delicious. Giving an average rating because when I go to order the just fruit ice cream and a certain employee is working the machine is either broken or shut off for some reason. Starting to seem like this employee just doesn’t want to use the machine. Awesome ice cream when other people are working!
tips go to owner (Allen Malberg). Allen then uses the tips to forge sales activity; the books are cooked - his staff are mainly teenagers who don't know any better, let alone how to stand up for themselves - they are great none the lessthe ice cream is good however... this I can't fault him forafter writing this review, Allen agreed the pay my outstanding wages, we met up and he gave them to me, he even gave me some tips, a small portion of what id actually earnedthe problem is he tried to bribe me with them... saying he would give me my wages only if I took down the review... no thanksat the end of the day I'd go to Beppi's Gelato if your in the area, no clue how the shop is run but I'm betting it's betterI've since reported him to the Labour board, OH&S, and cops.
Extremely slow service. The amount of ice cream you get is not worth the amount you pay for it. The bathroom is absolutely disgusting. The music is really inappropriate for a business. The staff were extremely unprofessional and we had to wait forever and the girl didn’t even say anything at the till…not even the total amount on the bill!!! We definitely will never go back as the service was terrible. There are better ice cream shacks in Saskatoon.

The person serving me didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Had to repeat my order, didn’t even understand what type of dish I was asking for, and ended up giving me the wrong kind (blueberry or Saskatoon berry topping instead of sour cherry). The ratio of topping to ice cream was way off. Plus I’ve heard from multiple former employees that the management is toxic. Looks like this is the last time I will patronize this establishment. Really too bad, because the ice cream, itself, is good!
The hard ice cream is good here but what keeps us coming back is the rotating soft serve flavors. It was disappointing over the winter months that there was nothing in the regards to try like a creme egg flavour or something.
