First I want to say that the staff in the restaurant and on the floors are first rate. I have been in town for more than two weeks now spending time with my mother who passed away this week. The costs have been mounting for hotel, car rental etc. As a long-standing holiday inn user at three of the four local holiday inns and an IHG member I asked if I could get a discount. After giving me the run around for three days they offered me $5 off a day for parking (on what would have been close to a $6000 bill). The manager, didn't have the courage to talk to me herself but delegated to poor front line staff. Tomorrow I am leaving the hotel and spending my last few days elsewhere. Holiday Inn will no longer get my business.
The bed and couch were hard as ROCKS. The tv channels were on a paper instead of using the guide and the pillows were also very tough. Only managed to find one soft pillow that was in the closet.. the bathroom in the rooms have sliding doors with no locks, which is absurd.
This hotel offers incredible value. I only have good things to say about it. The staff are friendly and accommodative, the amenities are in great shape, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, the internet is fast, the restaurant has great food and service, the location is perfect.
Stayed 2 nights at this property while in Saskatoon. Located downtown by the junction of Highways 11 and 14. Location made walking everywhere in the downtown area easy. We had a NS corner suite with a King Bed, fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, wet bar, sofa bed with coffee table and end table. There was a small table and 2 chairs along with a desk and chair as well. Room was huge, very clean and very well kept. The bathroom was very large and had a soaker tub as well as a separate shower. There was a long countertop with 2 sinks bowl style that sit on counter. There was still lots of space. Everything was very clean. Shower was a corner unit and way too small especially given the size of the room. Very cramped. Room was a bit noisy even with AC running. Lots of emergency vehicles given the 2 main highways adjacent. I'm not sure there is a really quiet option anywhere in the hotel given the location. I knew before arriving that there was a $15 per night charge for parking in the hotel. This was OK as it was indoor and secure. Since we could walk anywhere we wanted to go we had a safe location for the car. Also we would have had to pay for parking all over downtown anyway. The Midtown Mall was literally right across the street and it was only about a 6 block easy walk down to the river where there was a nice park and walking paths. In house restaurant was open for breakfast and dinner, we got takeout one night and food was very good. They were enforcing proof of vaccination to eat in the restaurant which was great. Service was great and value for $ Excellent. We would definitely stay here again.
Rooms are clean and nice pillows and bed and large flat screen TV. However was very disappointed. Their standards have slipped. I booked room with just a refresh which they are to change towels and refill coffee etc. Never got done. We had to ask for towels. Had to ask for coffee. And cups. I am assuming very poor communication amongst staff. And being a hottub owner...their hottub water was not properly balanced. Once running, the water turned cloudy and only 1 jet worked. Definitely this hotel standards have decreased. Promotions that were advertised one to jump through hoops to qualify.
Good location, parking available at hotel or at one of the many lots near it. Nice atmosphere in the pool and hot tub area (though on the smaller side). On site restaurant, however we didn't try it out. There is a great variety of snacks available at the front desk too though which we did take advantage of. Staff were great! Would definitely stay here again.
Staff was great, food was great and the rooms were very clean. Pool was also clean and very well kept. We stayed in one of the big penthouse rooms and it was so much fun! Even had a pool table!
We had an amazing stay at the Holiday Inn. I have nothing but great things to say!! Amazing staff, awesome large rooms with everything you need. Great location and parking.

Stayed here for a quick overnight trip for a medical appointment and was very happy with our stay. Our hotel was within walking distance of all the appointments as well as our dinner plans. Room was nice, bed was comfy. Pillows were a bit too soft but that seems to be the norm. The hotel was nice and quiet. The parking garage is a bit tight if you have a big vehicle. We had breakfast at the restaurant and enjoyed it. All in all, no complaints!
