I have been to Fable ice cream several times over the years for their unique but great flavours I have never seen any where else. I have not tried all the flavours but some of my favorites are the rhubarb crisp,Darkside Donut and the Salted Carmel.The staff here is always very friendly and helpful but wish the menu was east to read as it is hard for people to read with visual difficulties. I have always been here with some one else who helped me with the menu boards. It can also be a little slow when busy do to the small shop and not being able to see the menu ahead of ordering on your turn. Seating is all outside the shop with lots of benches and places to sit.
This is the best of the best Ice cream I’ve ever had, im dairy free and Fable has the most delicious dairy free ice cream (their dairy ice cream is really good too) but I’m not from Sask so when I make a trip out I ALWAYS make sure to stop here! Their house made waffle cones are delicious along with a big scoop of ice cream and I love love love the coffee they serve! This all around is a really amazing place that I’d recommend to anyone
Finally had a chance to check out the new Fable location and it's really nice! The ice cream however... is still fantastic!Hand made with care and high quality, the unique flavours keep you coming back for more! We like the Salted Caramel and the Rhubarb Cheesecake in particular.Try and get there off peak hours or you may be in for a wait.
The ice cream here is fantastic! They also make their own waffle cones and sometimes when it’s busy you’ll get a freshly made waffle cone. This place is great for ice and their customer service is just as great. Even when the line is out the door and they are being slammed with orders, they still continue to be super friendly and will offer samples of the different flavours they have. The bourbon, egg nog and gingerbread are the most delicious flavours that I’ve had this winter. Although their summer ice creams are just as delicious! This place is a must try for great ice cream.
I had the Rhubarb Crumble. It was awesome. Tasted like summertime. My son had the Raspberry goat cheese, he loved it. Hubby had the Berry with Lavender. Again, loved it. A real quiet drive home, we were too busy eating our delicious ice cream. Will be visiting again.
Good service. I'll go there again for sure to try the other ice creams but of the two I had, only one was really good. The haskap lavender is a bad combo. Honestly lavender is so powerful you could have had any random dark berry underneath it would be hard to tell the difference. Have had better lavender or berry combos elsewhere. But the dwarf sour cherry cream cheese was great for sure.
Fable is always awesome! Recently I had the Spruce tip and I loved it! Could have been a bolder flavour for me but everything is always better than good.Especially those waffle cones. ?Also great coffee. I usually get the salted Caramel Latte here (& I never buy Lattes).Highly recommend! Especially with the larger space.
One of my favourite places in the neighbourhood. Delicious ice cream and always friendly staff. I used to work in an ice cream shop and had a wonderful time and every time I walk into Fable it makes me want that experience again. The ice cream is so tasty and constantly cycling keeps it feeling fresh, but luckily they keep some constant just in case they cycle your favourite out. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I even had to go back and update a 3 yr old review about it
Amazing place for a cold treat! Lots of unique flavours to choose from. I had a peach milkshake and it was AMAZING!! FYI, the prices are a little on the higher side, but you do get a high quality product. They even have specialty coffees if ice cream isn't your thing. Check them out, you won't be disappointed!
Some of the best ice cream in the city! I'm slightly lactose so decided to get a dairy free flavour (I believe it was blackberry cheesecake) and wow it was so good! Still hit the spot and lots of chunks of cheesecake. I found it maybe a bit too sweet but still delicious and creamy.
