Crackers is a Long running Karaoke Bar in Saskatoon. I have always enjoyed myself there. The Singers are the usual crowd, with a few newbies here and there. I want to give a BIG shout out to the kitchen staff here. I enjoyed every bite of my meal. Keep up the good work staff. I had a great night.
Always good food here, and wings!!
Cam is a great host, the best singer they had seems to be MIA. Brock Landers killed it every time.
I love this bar! Been doing karaoke league here and just its above and beyond.
Love this place!! Staff are friendly, the karaoke DJ is awesome, the food is amazing. Couldn't ask for better.
I went to this place and met up with some old friends who I hadn't seen in a while. It was league karaoke night and we were lucky enough to see some incredibly talented folks go up and sing their hearts out. Truly some dope vocalists there that night. Anyways, after a couple of reasonably priced drinks and some great tasting pizza, one of my friends decided it would be a good idea for us to sing the song "Jackson" by Johnny Cash and June Carter. Unfortunately I wasn't very familiar with the song and I bombed my part of the duet. My friends were all super pissed at me for sucking so bad at "such an easy song". It was a huge blow to my ego and in that moment I knew what I had to do to make things right. Later, after some more reasonably priced drinks, I wrote another song down and took it up to the DJ. He glanced down at the paper and asked me if I was sure that was the song I wanted to sing. I said, "Sir, I've never been more sure about something in my entire life." The song? Mary Chapin Carpenter's rendition of Passionate Kisses by Lucinda Williams. The song reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart in March 1993, No. 54 on the Billboard Hot 100 that same year, and No. 1 in my heart in May of 2017. After some more reasonably priced drinks the DJ called me up to sing. "Don't suck so hard this time, Tyson!", one of my friends yelled as I walked confidently over to the stage. I started out strong and never lost steam. I hit every note just like MCC would have done had she been in my position. My "whoa-hoo-whoas" were so on point it scared me. At one point I forgot to look at the screen because I was kind of drunk but the bartender covered the lines for me while pumping her fist in the air. When it was all over everyone clapped. I felt vindicated. I'd totally redeemed myself. I thanked the audience and proceeded to slam multiple shots of tequila into my face hole. 10/10 would sing MCC at this establishment again. Great prices, food, and drinks. Top notch service.
Deadly service, awesome pub food, and the karaoke was fantastic! Sound was great and crowd fun and friendly! Can't wait to come back!
