great service & very good food
Ordered food. Food was great and delivery was on time. Got quite a bit of food for the 100$ we spent there. Was happy with everything overall
great service till our waitress left for the day, noone brought a bill to the table. my husband ordered chicken cordon blue it looked like 2 lg meatballs covered in gravy, hard as rocks and dry as heck as I watched my husband saw through his food. I ordered steak and lobster ? steak was great, lobster served dry, overcooked tough and no butter melted on it. was really looking forward to a good meal, guess it's not here ?
Good food (with one exception) and GREAT service!There were a few in our party a bit nervous to go there, as it can be a bit of a rough area, but we heard the food was good.We went and though we had to walk through clouds of smoke from people from the bar smoking right at the entrance, once upstairs the decor and atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.Our server was friendly, patient and really knowledgeable. We had gone there because it was a birthday and the birthday person wanted Greek ribs. As the server noted, they were great, as was the salad and lemon orzo soup. All but one person loved their meal. Unfortunately one person ordered the calamari (the waitress was wrong on this one, she said it was excellent) which was far too breaded and rubbery (I'd think ALL calamari is rubbery, but thats just me! ?). He said it was really not good and he barely ate it. Unfortunately because our server so so good, he also felt bad sending it back. Which is on us.Overall, 3 out of 4 meals were great! The service was some of the best we've had, and we would go back.
Nostalgic throwback to the 80's & 90's when we used to live in Saskatoon and would eat here often (our first date was here 35 years ago!). Nothing has changed. Good food, very friendly & efficient staff, reasonable prices, and exact same decor (which could use updating, but, hey, we enjoyed the experience!). Loved it.
Excellent service. Food was amazing. My daughter said it was the best Ceasar dressing she's ever had.
Whenever I go to or through Saskatoon, I always stop for a meal at Blue Diamond Restaurant. This is hands down the best restaurant I've ever had the pleasure to eat at. Its been a while, but whenever we go in, we always have a great visit.I have yet to try anything and be disappointed, which says something because I'm the pickiest eater you will ever know of. George makes the best food. I have lasagna on the brain and may have to make a special trip some day soon to satisfy the craving. Anyway, you cant go wrong eating at Blue Diamond Restaurant.10/10, 5 stars isn't enough!
When I dined in I had the pork chops with rice. It was so very good and seasoned perfectly .I really wanted to eat more but was full. For take out when in a group meeting we had the platters. First time I had deep fried vegetables and everything was so good. I recommend all the food I ate !!!
First time at Blue Diamond. And let me tell you how disappointed I am that I didn't find this place years ago!!! The food came out perfect. Soup first, then salad after, then main course. Steak was cooked perfectly !!!! Lobster was excellent! The staff were amazing. Our server was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and sides. The restaurant was clean and had a very relaxing vibe. Will definitely be back.
