So my husband and I are beginning random date nights and writing down restaurants we haven't been to before and pick one outta a hat kinda thing... anyway last night was The Keg!!When we 1st got there we sat down and waited and no one came to see us, so we did walk out and were waiting for a cab (mind you we didn't know that the waitress was dealing with a large table) so the manager caught us outside just as the cab was about to arrive and offered us 2 free appies and 2 drinks and apologized about the situation.. well who can see no to free food lolSo we go inside and the staff were so amazing and were giving us recommendations and the server and manager were very attentive... just as we were about to go to another place the manager so saved our night and the server lolBut not only the service was amazing but that food was so delicious and most definitely the 1st of many trips back to The Keg, specially at this location ?❤️?
Hanna was very attentive to our dietary needs. She also was very courteous and great with our two kids.
We have been enjoying The Keg for a number of years, and have always been satisfied.

My server was helpful to the point of being overbearing, so I worry that they're not being paid enough, as it was painfully obvious she was fishing for a tip.

Had reservations for 5:30 with my family on fathers day. Showed up and was told the tables where full and being cleaned. While waiting for 15 minutes I watched 3 other families come in after us and be seated right away without question.. very disappointing. Left because we did not feel welcome.
Super happy with the service and the delicious food at The Keg South, Nihar was our server and he was fantastic and super friendly. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone else.
