Oh you actually respond, might as well leave a comment. Food and staff are awesome both from the table and the wood. Was there to dine almost everyday last week so might as well leave a rating. Anyway looking forward to my next Same Team Soda or Moscow Mule or Coors Light with your pizzas or quesadilla or poke bowl or chicken waffles on the weekends.
Atmosphere is great. But it seemed very disorganized with the workers. We were seated on the patio, in which we waited for about 15 mins, b4 I had to finally ask for menus. Our waitress, finally took our order. Once we were served our meals, our waitress did not come by to see how things were, did not ask if we wanted refills on our drinks. The only time she ACTUALLY hustled was when she wanted payment… which, was quite rude. I was putting my left overs into my to go container while she stood there, when I already told her, that I was paying cash and that I would go up to the till to pay, as I wanted to talk to the manager about the poor service. The only time she actually hustled was when she was getting payment… so waiting for her tip. I let the manager know if the poor service. He apologized and said she was pretty swamped with tables… now, hearing that, when I’m a waitress myself, was a poor excuse… I’ve had alot busier days and always made sure ALL my customers received great service.. no matter how busy I was. And this is not the first time at a Canadian brew house that this happened. It’s happened to us at the Moose Jaw location too. So, either the workers are not being trained properly or people that can’t handle being a waitress are being hired. I think better hiring strategies need to be met… but, the food was good both times that I went to this location and moose jaws location. That’s one positive point.
The service is fairly average; sometimes it's quite lousy and sometimes it's really good. Our most recent visit was more on the not so great side. We did a fair amount of sitting and waiting. There's a button to press for service, but doesn't seem to make much difference and tend to push it multiple times with no result.The music was crazy loud for suppertime on a Thursday. It was hard to hear ourselves talk. We went to watch a hockey game and it took forever to get our little speaker box. The first period was almost half over before I finally got tired of waiting for the server to bring it and went to the bar to ask for one. It still took another 5 minutes or so to get it. The battery was dying, and by mid second period we couldn't hear the game anymore so decided to leave.The food is always good. We ordered through skip the dishes and one of our meals was missing. It was late in the evening and i was frustrated. After speaking to the manager he went above and beyond my expectations to make sure the meal was fresh and delivered, with a comlimentary dessert. Thank you so much for understanding and following through with great customer service. Highly recommended
Love love love this place! The food, the staff the atmosphere. Every time you walk in you feel like family. Doesn't matter if you are at the bar or a table, all of the staff come over and talk to you. The laughs are endless when at brewhouse grasslands. There could be 5 people, 50 people or 500 people. The staff are always energetic, dancing around and making this place one of the most entertaining places in the city. Everyone goes out of their way to learn your name and order, they know where you like to sit and even remember the names of your pets.I will forever keep coming back for this reason! Home is where your heart is and my heart is at grasslands.
Great service and food. Could use less ice in their mixed drinks. My drink was 3/4 full with ice and it didn’t taste like their was any alcohol in the drink. The table is very high compared to the height of chairs. Not very comfortable.
Went to watch the ncaa mens final. Lots of TVs and good seats. Enjoyed the beer and fish and chips.
Had an awesome experience. The service is top notch. Amanda provided excellent service and was a lot of fun to deal with. With Eden in charge everything ran very efficient. Never better.
