I’m sure if you physically go in it would be a better experience, but not for ordering.I placed an online order for about $35. Usually there is a spot for special instructions where I was going to put in a substitution. But this restaurant does not do that. Instead, one of the options is “we will contact you”. Ok, no problem, I’m fine with being contacted for different items.I didn’t hear back so I assumed all was good.My order arrived and the bottled drinks were wrong, one of the breakfasts were wrong, I was missing 2 items, and the cookie I ordered was wrong. Only the in-house drinks were correct.I’m apprehensive to ever order from Second Cup again because of this experience. Stick to in-person ordering.
I had a really bad Monday and came to second cup and didn’t know what to order. A young woman (I think her name is Latisha) suggested I order a CC on ice and it was soooo good. I would highly recommend. She could tell I had a rough day and was extra kind and helpful even gave me directions out of town. Thanks for the good experience.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that they only have stock 50% of the time. 50% of the times I've gone I've left with nothing. They also don't actually deliver, and take forever for the smallest orders when they DO have stock. This is probably the worst service I've seen in this city.
We love this place. I take all my clients here and do most of my staff meetings here also.
I am very disappointed in second cup on rochdale's staff recently. My family and I are regular customers however after today may not be. My family and I went to second cup today and the door were locked with a sign saying closed October 12-14 and their new hours. However they should be open as that sign is regarding next week. We pull to the drive thru window to try and see if anyone is inside and we see a blonde lady, an employee I assume. We try and tell her the sign is regarding next week and not today wondering why they are not open. The lady inside avoids us and eventually yells at us through the drive thru shut window that they are closed and we need to leave in a very disrespectful tone. There were numerous customers wondering why they were closed and nobody and no signs to answer their questions
today was a very tough day. i thought i’d stop by and get a hot chocolate, when i got to the window i saw a sign saying they were closed from october 12-14th, today is the 9th…. they had no signs indicating they were closed. when a blonde worker came to the window we told her her signs were wrong she began to yell at us through the window and being very rude, telling us they were closed at 4. we were confused because their sign said 6. i am very disappointed. all she had to was open the window and say “i’m sorry we’re closed right now” instead of being a child. this took place at the rochdale location. there were many costumers around confused on if they were open or not.
All staff are amazing and well educated at there job Except for the management team. It is not the responsibility of 16-17 year old young ladies to have to worry about if they actually have stock to do there job. Also heard a rumor this second cup had a big bug problem not sure of that got resolved... DO BETTER asap
The workers are trying their best but they have to run around like chickens with their heads cut off!! The store is entirely under stocked for supplies. If you are the manager reading this, DO BETTER! Buy some dang coffee and syrups for your store. This is not on the employees, this is on YOU. Super disappointed.
I went in sunday evening and there was only one worker taking care of the café during a rush, he was having to run around like crazy. He was doing well, but this is not how the workers should be treated, the workers can't take care of everything on their own. Also the café was out of caramel and it seems this a norm whenever I come here. The inconsistency of the management, and disrespect for the employees is horrible. The management team needs to properly staff the place and actually stock the place. It seems no care is put into the place by the management team. I feel bad for the workers having to deal with it.
