NERVER COME BACK.It was unacceptable service and problem solving at I love sushi.We've been waiting for more than 1 hour to have 2 plates of meat, 1 miso soup, a tiny scallop and a bowl of adamame. I ordered 20 items but after 1 hour it came with a little of food showed as photo below. When we ask the server and he told us to wait another 15 minutes to get more food (not all of what we ordered) whereas the whole restaurant had 4 tables at the time and everyone had nothing on their table either. We decided to leave as we lost our patient and starving. We got charged fully at $27.99/person (time 3) and the child at $12.99. It was about $100 for 2 plate of meat, 1 soup and 1 tiny scallop which is unacceptable. I requested to speak to the manager Mr Ming who wasnt there at the time. I had to call him, he doesnt speak English and he needs translation from someone else. Finally I got charge almost $60 for what we got.You, as a restaurant, better seriously look into your customer service to make the people coming back after an issue happens.
The food itself is alright. Definitely not the best sushi but it's pretty cheap.I called in to place an order for pick up. And they told me they were too busy and to call back in an hour. Absolutely not, I'm calling Hachi Sushi to order. It's not even like they told me that there would be a bit of a wait because they were busy. They just told me to call back. I found that they turned my service away very weird.
well I love the food but I am done with this place, late, forget sauces and never have mango pudding. tonight called me after I created my on-line order. they didn't ask me to pick up they closed 1.5 hours early and its my birthday. I am disappointed once again so I am done! I usually order 50-120 in food each time so I guess its your loss.
I will never ever eat from here again me and my son both got food poisoning from here. I can't express how disappointed I am with there food and how sick we were a day of work missed and school for my son due to bad seafood. I wouldn't recommend ever eating here. I will never go back ever again.
Good sushi, nice selection of foods, but staff was inattentive and brought us a lot of wrong dishes. No one brought a tablet or explained to us how to order for over 15 mins after being seated, we had to go up and they had forgotten about our table.
Me and my family used to eat in this restaurant pre pandemic. Since the Pandemic it was our first time to go back in this restaurant. What can I say? I think they have a new management/owner. The food quality is not the same. Not as good tasting like before. Now, because of the Pandemic even if you want buffet, they will still serve you like a la carte. Which is understandable, but they do not offer much, there was only little menu options for buffet. And you end up waiting quite a bit of time for your food. You loose your momentum to eat if you want to go for second plate, because you do have to wait again for your food. Even the cleanliness of the facility is not well maintained. The floors close to the cashier and the old buffet area needed to be mop. And according to my husband the washroom for men when we came was dirty. It was not worth the money. Not worth coming back.
Food was pretty good.However the service wasn’t great. The waitress didn’t even acknowledge me when I said thank you for anything she brought to the table. She’s wearing ripped black skinny jeans. Not appropriate for serving here. The music playing is REALLY heavy and giving me a headache it’s terrible and not suitable for a sushi restaurant. The bathrooms have probably never been cleaned there’s all kinds of bodily fluids all over the toilets and floors. The dining room floors look like they’ve never been mopped. The chairs are covered in dust and hair. The ginger they use is awful.Wouldn’t eat here again: too bad because the food is good but front of house needs major work
Everyone need to make adjustments for Covid. These guys have done a great job. They no longer offer buffet but still have all you can eat. You order via an iPad and boom! Fresh sushi! I like it far better than buffet. Food is fresh and tasty and service is great. Not a fan of the miso but that’s personal preference. It’s more of a sweet kind.
In an effort to support a local business, my friends and I went to have a great dinner out. The food was wonderful and the service was ok. We ordered a fair amount of food for three people. I had reviewed the policy for wasted food and was mindful in my choices when ordering. We had eaten at the very least 3/4 , if not more, of what we had ordered. We went to pay and the server informed us that we would have to pay the wasted food charge of $5. I explained that I was fully aware of the policy but believed that it was unfair to ask us to pay it. There wasn't a large amount of food leftover. She continued with the statement that it was their policy. I expressed that I understood the policy but I thought it was unfair to ask us to pay it. After all we had just paid 90$ for a tasty meal. After a little back and forth, and me stating that we would not be returning, they finally waved the fee. Do better " I love Sushi "
Fantastic food! Ordered 4 different vegetarian rolls. All delicious, presentation was great.
