Server was prompt and pleasant. Food was very good although some prices stopped me from ordering other things. Very noisy but not as noisy as Albert South location. I’m a young senior and my hearing is starting to fade. Great experience overall.

Not sure if the server or bartender was new but we ordered wine that was a rose and we were given Chardonnay. We liked it over the rose but when the bill was transferred the other server told us.

Dinner and drinks were great as always. My date was a jerk, and the staff handled it really well lol

Really enjoy the new seasonal cocktails. Lots of exciting new menu items like the sushi taco but not a lot of gluten-friendly items.

I have always had an amazing experience at earls. Consistent good food. This was the first time the food was very average. We weren’t told about options that weren’t available. We asked three times for plates and napkins, eventually flagging down someone clearing tables to get them. We all ordered the same meal, it was pretty bland. Again, no one came to check on our meals and we didn’t get the cutlery we requested again many times. It was extremely nice to get the dessert on the house, but overall I was very disappointed as we were out for my low key stagette

Even we enjoy the food, the service is something to be desired on the east side. I only drink water, I don't appreciate being asked multiple times if I want sparkling water or coffee. Then the last time I was there asked for the bill and she was insistent on the desert menu. I have over the years eating there have tipped 18 or 20 % but don't think that practice will continue

We came in as a group of four on July 2nd later in the evening around 10 pm. We were terribly disappointed with the service or lack of, the food and the overall attitude displayed by most of the staff we interacted with. As people who have worked in the service industry which includes one of Canada's 100 top restaurants, we can understand the how a busy night can feel. With that being said, we also understand the prioritization of consistency, quality, and care within a business. I feel as if the managers and staff are disorganized and are failing this business.We came in and had quite the wait for drinks, in which we could understand that maybe the staff were busy so we waited patiently. Once our cocktails came, we were still waiting for water for our table, especially the person who was just having water to drink . Our server did not come to check back in and we had to go to the bar to request a pitcher of water, which was still okay and we did not mind much.Our food came, our server asked how our food was before we had tasted it and never revisited our table. One person in our party ordered a steak rare and it came out medium. After waiting about 5 minutes for our server we asked a person who seemed to be a host or manager to get assistance to which he said "wait a sec" and never returned. We eventually flagged our server down and she was on top of fixing the steak, at this point it was about 20 minutes later and our table had finished their meals. Another woman came to the table, someone we believe to be a manager or supervisor, and she did not apologize about the issue. Instead she said "How do you want your steak? As rare as possible?". At this time the restaurant had slowed down significantly when the second try at Steak Frites eventually came after quite the wait. The steak was mediocre at best and 3/4 of the plate were fries with no condiments. The quality of the steak was far below average for the price.When the bills came, they did not adjust price or offer any complimentary adjustments for the lack of service, mix up on the steak, or poor customer service. I had to go track-down the same manager/supervisor woman we had previously spoken to and request it be taken off our bill. In which she replied with excuses instead of an apology, by saying she had not realized we had asked more than one person for assistance.I am not one to write reviews like this but I did address our issues with the staff and this feels like it should be noted as the employees at the restaurant did not seem too interested.

Food was excellent. Service not so much. Waitress was meh! We were there to celebrate our anniversary and at times we were ignored. Probably won’t come back to this location. Have had much much better service at your south end location. Especially when we were there celebrating special occasions (birthdays and previous anniversaries).

They were able to accommodate for our table being isolated from the others due to my mom being immunocompromised.
