I'm surprised with all the good ratings of this place. Visited from Toronto and decided to try the restaurant on a Friday evening, yet our experience at the 2010 restaurant was a great disappointment. We tried to make a reservation by chat, email and phone and no one got back to us either way, so we decided to walk-in. When I told the manager this, he simply laughed it off and said that if we didn't get a response we didn't get a reservation. This caught me off guard and reflected on his unprofessional and rude demeanor. They placed us at a wiggly table and we felt completely ignored. The evening wasn't that busy and there were a couple of empty tables. When we asked if we could change our table after a couple finished to get a better view the waitress came back and told us that the manager said it was booked. Yet we stayed past 9pm and no one came to claim the table. However, one couple did come and surprisingly they changed their table three times. So basically from what I gather is, if you are a regular and an important personal you'll get the high-end golden treatment, if not you are treated with rudeness. As for the food, it is overpriced and nothing to crave about. Any good food critic would give them nothing higher than one star. If you are looking for something with flavor I'd recommend an ordinary pub such as Taverna or the pizza restaurant Famoso.I do not recommend this restaurant. Simply visit the restaurant for the view, (and order nothing more but one drink) but getting a helicopter ride to see the veiw of Regina would be a better experience. Bad service, rude management, overpriced food. Highly not recommended.

We had a wonderful evening here tonight! We reserved on the penthouse patio, gorgeous view of the city and a nice al fresco dining area. Seated initially in one of the banquette style seating tables - pro tip, if you have people in your party who are shorter, request (at time of reservation) to be seated at the traditional table and chairs seating. We asked if we could be moved, and our server checked with the hostess to make sure that there was a table available (that hadn't been reserved in advance) to seat us at. There was, but the restaurant was not as busy as one would expect on a beautiful Saturday summer evening, so we lucked out.We ordered drinks, Aperol spritz was well made, cold and refreshing. The Cucumber Basil Gimlet was stellar. Cucumber/basil were a perfect match for the gin, and citrus ingredients gave lively sweet/sour notes. Served on rocks, it was a welcome aperitif for a warm humid evening.Appetizers were shared; the Korean Kimchee Dumplings were delicious! Beautifully thin wrappers with pork and kimchee filling, steamed and served with a soy/sesame dipping sauce. The Giant Calamari Crown was a whole calamari tube, sliced into rings, delicately breaded and fried. Tender, tasty, served with one of the best aioli's I've ever had - smoky, savoury, slightly spicy with an herbaceous note I couldn't identify but really enjoyed. Crab cakes were homemade with a nice crust, pan fried and served with chipotle remoulade, good texture and taste. Bruschetta was good, the tomato topping was fresh and tangy. My only issue is that I prefer the baguette slices toasted or grilled and these were served 'au naturel', not my personal taste...Mains were the Double Cut Pork Chop stuffed with brie, pecans and dried cranberries (big appetite at the table), the Chicken Supreme with maple mustard glaze (for the smallest appetite). The pork chop was nicely seared, tender, juicy, served with a port reduction. The chicken was cooked perfectly on the bone; the glaze skewed more to being a sauce but it was quite delicious, more savoury than sweet, well balanced. Both were served with roasted baby potatoes that were creamy inside, and seasonal fresh vegetables cooked tender crisp, also tasty. Myself and the other member of our party ordered the fish special; pan fried Salmon filet with pineapple and apple salsa, seved with pecan fried rice and the fresh summer veg. The salmon filet was cooked perfectly, seared outside, moist and tender inside. The salsa was a fresh, tangy note that complimented the rich salmon. Pecan fried rice was astounding! A seemingly odd combination that was extremely yummy. We ate every bit of it?For dessert the large appetite had a Creme Brulee. The rest of us ordered one each of the three available desserts to share. Creme Brulee was nice, the custard was smooth, silky with perfect texture, the sugar crust torched to a golden brown that cracked satisfyingly when struck with the spoon. It was a hit with the creme brulee lovers at the table. The lemon tart had a light fresh filling topped with 3 individual meringues, lending a nice textural element. The crust was on the thick side and very difficult to cut into with the spoon, but the flavours were there. The absolute stand out was the Chocolate Torte! Dark, rich, decadent, sweet and bitter notes of the chocolate PERFECTLY balanced,SO GOODOur server Tegan was excellent? Friendly and personable. We had 2 cocktails, a beer, 9 glasses of wine (couldn't agree on bottles!), 4 appies, 4 mains and 4 desserts. The bill, after tax and before tip, was 434$ We left stuffed and extremely happy. 5 stars, highly recommend...will eat here again next time I'm in town.20Ten, you need to relocate to Vancouver where you would be truly valued and packed out every night...recent reviewers seem to lack a true appreciation for and/or familiarity with this style of food and dining!

Food was disappointing for the price. Risoto flavourless and salty, using button mushrooms that may well have been from a can. The side vegetables to steak and pork were underseasoned and potatoes dry. We heard the peopercorn sauce was to die for however it was a simple gravy. I've made better on my barbecue. The views are nice at the patio however the prices aren't justifiable. The cocktails were skimpy, one of the worst palomas I've had and pretty sure it was with Sunripe grapefruit juice. I'd expect a better and more dedicated experience from a rooftop patio and although they've given their best try it falls short of the mark like most Regina steakhouses.

I had the most horrible experience here for my birthday. This was my third time being here and it was horrible ALL 3 times. The staff was rude, and we were placed at a very horrible seat. When we asked to be moved or accommodated, they refused. The food sucked terribly and the drinks are horrible. The manager was less than helpful. It’s definitely a place to go for the views but NOTHING else. The food and customer service is insanely terrible. I can’t believe they have any good reviews…

I really wish I could leave zero stars! Worst restaurant experience ever. Service was horrible, drinks were watered down, food portions were small and the chicken I ordered was dry and flavourless. The manager did not seem to care about his customers and dismissed all our complaints. Our server initially told us we could eat our birthday cake then all of a sudden we weren’t allowed to eat our cake cause it was “outside food”. As a result of this, our cake got destroyed. This place isn’t worth the hype!

Food was amazing! Thursday night it was very quiet in the restaurant but hopefully more people will try this restaurant for a night out. I had the slow braised beef and it was magnificent.

Place felt trendy and big city, stuffed chop was fantastic, cool vibe and friendly professional staff

Great crab cake!Good service.I ordered beef for main dish, the meat with no exaggeration was more than 90% fat. I had to dig and keep searching for a piece of meat to eat.Definitely overpriced.

This was our first time at this eatery and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The food was beautifully presented and when we asked for an appetizer that was not on the menu they happily accommodated. This is one restaurant where we ate and did not feel ripped off at the end as we sometimes do. The prices were reasonable, the portions were good - not huge but we did not leave hungry - and the food quality and presentation was excellent. The one thing we did notice is that for a quiet, upscale restaurant the rock music at the level it was at, did not really fit. If it was later and more bar like than upscale restaurant that would have been fine but at 7:00 pm on Saturday night, something more relaxing would have been better for us. All in all it was a great experience and we will be back.
