Food is phenomenal. Service in general is great too. We had a waiter who speaks better English served us at the beginning. He is very nice and patient in helping us with the menu. Later when we were ready for ordering, he's busy with other tables. It was late, so we decided to ask an waitress to help with ordering. Everything went well except the tipping experience. The POS device gives tipping percentage options from 15% to 25%. My father intended to choose 15% but accidentally chose 25% as we notice the amount was much higher than our expectation. Before confirming the transaction, we wanted to confirm about the tipping percentage and asked the waitress. She said it's 15% and swiftly grabbed the card from my father's hand to tab on the machine herself. It's like she does not want us to find out we made a mistake. Well, what's done is done. I just hope the nice waiter who helped us at the beginning also get part of the tips.
This restaurant is located at the Hotel Gouverneur in Trois Rivieres. We visited this restaurant for the Friday night all you can eat seafood buffet. The restaurant is cozy and inviting, the service is good and friendly. The choice at the buffet is very interesting - nice variety. You also get unlimited "half" lobster served to you from the waiter. You can order as many as you want and within 5-8 minutes it is served to you. In the meantime you can have mussels, crabe, salmon, shrimps smoked salmon, snails, seafood lasagna etc... from the buffet. There is also a choice of cheese and desserts if you are still hungry.
Had the all you can eat sea food... was really good. One thing thought, if the lobster is not in season, they do have some but don't bother, it small and taste nothing.
Went for Sunday brunch with a group. Service was top notch by the entire team. There was a nice variety of food in the buffet and everything was fresh and delicious. Pianist was great. Not only were the main courses great but the deserts were to die for . Five star dinning on a three star budget.
Impeccable seafood buffet on Friday and Saturday lots of choice .. great service .. and what about the a la carte menu .. fresh, appetizing, and tasty ... We had a great experience at a very affordable price! Thank you to Eric our server for the beautiful evening! I recommend it to everyone.

We had a fantastic Royal set menu for two. Excellent seafood (a platter of lobster, crayfish, scallops and crab), dessert and service. Highly recommend. Small but quaint atmosphere with a wide choice of food to choose from . Not only were the main courses great but the deserts were to die for . Five star dinning on a three star budget.
