Great spot right downtown. Unique and spacious interior. Reminded me of a village pub in England. Lots of smaller rooms to converse in and a wonderful cozy bar. Whiskey selection is top notch, prices are excellent. The bartenders/owners are very friendly. Great 2nd story terrace, highly recommend this hidden gem.

Great atmosphere and delicious beers and Flams! Really loved it. You must try if you are in the area!

Great handmade beer in a cozy atmosphere that will likely find you new friends

Bonne bière, décor antique.

Super experience

(Translated by Google) I visited on December 18, 2019 so there may have been some improvements but it's hard to say if I would go back. I wrote this immediately after my experience but didn't post because I hate leaving bad reviews, but how can I improve?QUICK FACTS: The beer was sweet and the food mediocre. Service needs to be improved - not like most more humble experiences I've had in Sherbrooke.FULL REVIEW: I went with my husband. We were not greeted or provided with menus for more than five minutes. It was actually a customer at the bar who told us to sit anywhere. The waiter certainly saw us as he told the people at the bar (which at this time was leaving) that he would head out once he finished serving a table in the back. My husband wanted to leave, but I asked him to give the waiter the benefit of the doubt, that maybe he was really busy.I speak with more than ten years of experience working in restaurants, it is important to interact with anyone newly seated in the first minute, otherwise the customer feels that his business is not is neither desired nor appreciated. It's also common sense: 1) the table at the back was making so much noise, it's clear that they had been there for a long time, 2) it takes less than a minute to put down menus, 3) people need the time to look at the menus anyway, better get them ASAP.When the waiter finally saw us, I appreciated that he spoke English (well!) As my partner does not speak French. We tried four different beers and they were all surprisingly sweet and less carbonated than most craft or microbrewery beers we're used to. As a dish, my partner chose the Sherbrooke pan and I ordered the "Doubidchou" flam. His dish was greasy and he hoped that the acidity and effervescence of his beer (an IPA) would balance out his meal, but it wasn't. My meal, which consisted mostly of brie, apples and bacon could have been improved with a little bit of acidity too to balance with the fat (the apples weren't sour enough) so I asked for balsamic vinegar (the combination of brie, apple and balsamic vinegar is nothing new). Unfortunately, the waiter said he didn't have balsamic vinegar or any other vinegar (yet there are five salads on the menu…).While we were eating it was hard not to notice that all other people who arrived were greeted and given menus in a timely manner. They were also all white, but maybe it was just a coincidence ?When we pay at the bar the waiter said he was sorry that he didn't have balsamic vinegar but the food was French (at that point a man at the bar chuckled). It is presumptuous of her to think that because we are mainly English speakers (and not white), that we do not know French cuisine. He then went on to say that their dressings were made with beer- sorry, but THAT doesn't sound like French cuisine! What is “Dressing”? An English-speaking term? Who doesn't start with “VINEGAR” ?! ?My partner is from New York where we ate in superb French brasseries and restaurants (with vinegar-made dressings lol). I grew up in Quebec, I spent time in Alsace and Paris, and my Swiss dad only cooks French cuisine. If the goal was to alienate us, well done, well done ?(Original)J’ai visité le 18 décembre, 2019, donc ça se peut qu'il y ait eu des améliorations, mais c’est difficile à dire si j’y retournerais.

This is a microbrewery. The beer is really excellent (you should try the Abenakis. It is a dark beer and I normally hate that kind of beer but now it's my favorite!) Microbrewery The beer: not bad at all The food: so so Décor: needs love and attention But the staff is what makes the place! highly recommend
