Went in to buy some pastries for some family friends. When I went to the back counter, where the pastries are, the young man starred at me, stood there, and didn't even say 'Hello, Bonjour' or 'Can I help you? Puis-je vous aider?'. Just starred. So I say 'Bonjour', and he simply nods his head. Not a word. I asked for suggestions as to some of their best sellers and he said they are all good and looked annoyed at my question. Just overall disappointing service. I ended up choosing some treats on another table which were delicious but the service was not great.
I rarely say everything I order is “very good” from a bakery, but pain et saveur has not disappointed in the many times I’ve been! Very good!
We bought a strawberry shortcake - the strawberries in the cake were frozen. If I wanted a frozen cake, I would have went to an ice cream parlor
If you are looking for Italian pastires, this is your spot! They have everything, made in store and imported Italian products. They have sweet and salty options. Pricing was on the higher end, but the service was good and fast.
A place with a large variety of breads, sandwiches and other pastry. We liked everything we bought from this place. We will visit again when we find ourselves in the neighborhood.
It's no Pâtisserie de Gascogne, but it does the job! They have huge selections of gourmet products during the holidays and the cakes are pretty good.

I don’t know what happened to that place, I went to get some pain Parisien and wanted them cut like they always do, The girl behind the counter couldn’t even reach the machine and the bread came out all torn and a big chunk of bread fell off the machine so she asked us if we still wanted it… excuse me but what kind of customer service is that?!! I went to speak to someone else and they said they would replace it but not cut it in case we get the same result… this place is a joke it’s really a shame
