I tried many Vietnamese restaurants around Montreal and unfortunately it’s one wasn’t the best. We had to order at the counter and take your order to a table I gave tips thinking there will have service, but no. I took a Pho soup and they ask me if I wanted it spicy or not, usually in other places we have the sauces on tables so I was a little bit confused but then I said I want the sauces aside and they did but I think they charged me 0.95$ for that as you can see on the receipt. Also the broth was just water and only beef and some bean sprouts and that’s it. It is not the pho that I usually know ?I was quite disappointed but maybe this is how they make them… I haven’t tried anything else maybe their specialty isn’t the soups.
The quaint atmosphere and the amazing staff made this place worth going to as a start, but once the food rolled out it was even better! I highly recommend trying their general tao chicken bowl since it is remarkably good! The only downside is that when I came, half the menu items were unavailable due to stock shortage, but it definitely paid off with the already great selection.
Ordered take out once when we moved here last summer. Service was fun (had to talk to English speaking owner via phone to place the order) the food was fresh, flavorful and as authentic Vietnamese as you will get outside of Vietnam. The terrace area is great in the summer. Good to support the local restaurants. ;)
I went there and ordered the tofu pho, I sat at a dirty table that they didn’t clean for me, no napkins or sauces on the table. When the lady brought out my food she was screaming on the phone and didn’t even place my food anywhere near me. There was a hair in my bowl too. Best pho I’ve ever eaten tho. Terrible service, good food
Really bad service. The lady that was serving me was extremely rude and also started yelling at me when I confronted her about only filling my drink half way. She was also being very stingy with the toppings she was putting into my sandwich. I would not recommend this restaurant for the bad service and also the quality of the food is average and also overpriced in my opinion.
Amazing food! The employees are so kind... great spot to eat at for students in the area. Their bbq porc banh mi/poke is amazing !!!
Prices are hard to beat on the banh mi. Hed the grilled porc. Very good.
Best Banh-mi in town. The employees are kind and give a wonderful service
Pretty lack luster food, no dressing for the salade , noddles have no spices , too much oil and for the sauté the onions aren’t even properly cooked. The sandwiches are ok but the rest is terrible.
Good food but the people working there do not speak english or french. It’s very hard to place an order over the phone or at the counter.
