This place always have excuses to not prepare what we are asking. They always want us to buy what they have already prepared. Very bad service
Wish there was an option of NO STARS for Customer Service at this SUSHI SHOP location..February 15th, 2022 — Totally WORST experience ever with a SUSHI SHOP location after years of customer loyalty from the start even before it was part of the MTY Group... it boils down to this incident to not recommend the Sushi Shop at all.Decided to order sushi this evening from a nearby SUSHI SHOP (bout. Omer-Marcil, St-Jean) and had received a gift card from friends in Dec. 2019 (with Covid and all, never got a chance to use it) ...so as they say on their website "Sushi Shop gift cards are practical, safe, easy to use. Perfect gifts for your families & friends".Online ordering - message said "Gift Card is invalid", calling them - they said CANNOT HELP, we were told to call original location in Montreal. Called original location and speaking with an employee - we were told to go on the MTY GROUP website!!!?? We even have the original receipt printed with the amount paid and the SUSHI SHOP Gift Card in front of us... they cannot verify the purchase (we have printed receipt!!). Is this a joke? or a big scam??Anyway, we were hungry and sushi was on the mind... so we placed our order. After arriving at location, was told it would be another 30 mins. of wait. So went on to do other errands and returned back in 35 mins. Was told "WAIT OUTSIDE" and waited for another 20 mins before getting order. And to top it off, they even MESSED UP ON THE ORDER... ordered Sushi Pizza Homard et cie (received a Sunrise), ordered Crevette Popcorn (and received Crevette Tempura). Like I said... time to change BRANDS for sushi next time. And the sushi all looked the SAME... SAUMON ON EVERYTHING!! Loss of appetite indeed.
This franchise is the biggest pain in the a$$ with the WORST customers service. I will never return. AFTER taking my money I was told to wait outside in the rain until the order is ready!! I'm so mad!! I asked for my money back and they said "no... Wait outside or leave, but your not getting your money back and youre not waiting inside". Doing this seems so very fraudulent. I have had a bad experience here a few months ago and I chalked it up to just a rude disgruntled employee but this was a completely new set of people who hate their job and have no regard for the service industry or the franchise that they represent.

Sadly didn't have a good experience. I tried ordering two bubble teas through their online service which they advertised on their shops pamphlet. After logging onto the website I placed my order and payed using my visa, arrived at the correct location to pick them up, only to be told by the lady behind the counter that I was wrong, and that they never received my order (in a tone that felt a bit aggressive to be honest). Thinking it might have been a technical bug, I requested if it was possible to make the order at that moment (while I was in the shop) instead, only to be told that they don't make any of the basic milk teas in this shop and that they only offered the fruity drink versions listed in their menu, which was not what I wanted and paid for through their online shop. I feel swindled to say the least. The money was taken from my account but I received nothing in exchange. I've contacted them through their site directly to see if I can be reimbursed for this purchase, since I never received it.

j'ai commandé la semaine passé avec Uber Eat. j'ai commandé vers les 18h30 et l'application disait commandé prête vers 19h10. je suis partie presque tout de suite car ça me prend 25 minutes de chez moi pour aller au sushi shop. quand je suis arrivé, l'application disait que ma commande allait finalement être prête vers 19h50 car étant donné la file d'attente au restaurant, ils ont préféré servir les clients physiques plutôt que d'honorer ma commande. j'ai donc appelé au rest
