I'll let me text message below explain.Hello,"I finally have some time to write. It was a very busy day for me so I really couldn't express how I felt. But I must say I was very disappointed. We had set all this up last week, the forms, the menu and payment. And I drove down to the address for 9:30am and no one was there. I called the store, the number on google and got no answer.Thankfully I went through the emails and found your number, if I hadn't, who knows when or what would've happened. The food only arrived at 11:15am. I'm not sure why so late, I was told on the phone someone was supposed to be arriving at 10:00am. I live 20 minutes from the local. It seems to me the food wasn't even prepared. Then a part of the food was missing. I called and instead of getting it sent to me right away, since that's what I ordered and had prepared my guests for, I get asked if I want a refund. That arrived at 12:55pm. About an hour and a half after I called. The dish arrived hot, as if it was made fresh at that moment, I thought it was supposed to be a salad? The banh mi rolls tasted great, but were literally falling apart in the box.The rolls were good also, but also falling apart after cooking them. The falafel balls were quite dry.And the cauliflower crisps were not great. The best thing we're actually the potatoes! Perhaps because they were prepared the hour of?Anyways, after dealing with 10 guests and finally having a moment to sit, I just wanted to let you know. It just sucked to have to deal with all that stress with other things going on. I chose a catering service for the point of NOT having that stress of food prep, and it actually almost made things worse.I work in the restaurant industry, I'm a waiter as well as a teacher. Mistakes happen, I understand, but today was way too much. What times and days can I drop off the warming chaffs? Because I do not want to have to go to an empty store again."
I ordered 5 meals to try and i was very impressed! They were delicious and my husband who thought he would never eat vegan food also loved them! I will order again
Tasty food, cozy little restaurant. Only one employee so service took some time but that's okay.
Simple, flavourful, no frills vegan restaurant. Ordered the tofu jerk and it was a great concoction of plantain, tofu, and a rice/bean mix that was hot yet very filled with flavour. The restaurant was small in nature and located somewhat far from public transport but it was still worth the trek. Another con was the elevated prices for the meal, as the value/portion ratio was not entirely great. Nonetheless I recommend this place!
Pad thai was really delicious jerk tofu was too! Would recommend.
Great vegan take out in Montreal. We had mac & cheese, pad thai, the xmas special, the asiatic rolls with their super sauce. Good quality, freshness and taste! Good to make a change once in a while!
The most expensive mini chai "latte" , cup was super little and product was a tea bag, I paid $ 5.20 for that, ..I wouldn't even complain if at least it would had some taste :(.. since you got really mad about my comment I replaced 1 star to 4 fair enough for just a mini chai... but next time if you see a customer lost you can take the time to explain your menu.Hopefully 4 stars make you less angry but I would ask in return to give a better service when the client doesn't seem to know your products.
Very small business with a limited menu, but if you're just looking for a quick vegan bite, you can have one there at a relatively low cost.
So good!!! Had the OBLT (but on an English muffin as they were out of the everything bagel) and a cookie (chocolate cinnamon maybe?).Also ordered an oat milk chai latte, but got a matcha instead (did not like it).Would be five stars if not for the missing bagel I was so looking forward to and the incorrect drink.Would definitely go back next time in Montreal, so incredibly delicious!!
No frills vegan restaurant. Full disclosure: I am not vegan and went the first time with vegan friends but loved the food anyway. Delicious bowls, friendly service, only possible downside is that last time I went they were understaffed and cook times were a bit long. Probably better for take out than eat in at the moment do to very small dining area size.
