Shout out to the doorman (possibly Owner/G.M.) who did us a huge favour in honouring a reservation that I accidentally messed up. The bar was so busy that night, he could've easily turned us away based on my screw up.To sum up our experience: Great staff, great food, great booze, great music. It was a memorable evening to end a memorable family day trip to Montreal. A low key gem in the heart of the City. Cheers.
It's one of my best memories from Montreal! I'm from Kazakhstan and it was my 1st time in Quebec! Great food, fantastic atmosphere, great drinks! Performance was absolutely awesome, i so much enjoyed my time there! I would say this is one of the "must visit" places in Montreal! Even if you don't love jazz that much, you will have fun anyway!
Excellent staff, great food, and great entertainment.It was a Wednesday night and we were looking for a Jazz bar. The stars aligned and took us Upstairs.We arrived just before the band started playing and were kindly informed that there would be a cover charge for the show, added on to our bill. That was fine and we appreciated being informed so we went in.We didn't have reservations, which help you sit closer to the front, but we could still see the stage. We ordered a couple of drinks, and watched the place quickly fill up.The staff was rushed for the rest of the night. We wanted to wait a while to eat, which helped us out, and we enjoyed our drinks (the wine and Cafe Avril impressed) and the ambiance.We saw meals arriving pretty quickly all around. A lot of burgers were ordered - they did look very good, and make people happy, as did the other dishes we saw. We had pasta and salad and finished with some cider, all of which were delicious.The staff was friendly and attentive, and the show was nice. It was a jazz jam session, and a lot of the musicians connected very well on stage.If you are looking for a good jazz bar and to see a good show, here is a place to go.
The service at the bar was amazing! Drinks were great, music was perfect! We would definitely come back for those.The only downside was the food. We of course didn't try everything on the menu, but the things we have were not great (to say the least) which is sad, because everything else is amazing.
Best place to real live music lovers . Good good drinks ... sometimes very slow service but always kind and pro . We spent so many beautiful nights there . Strongly recommend

Great live jazz music. Lovely food. The Nachos were WoW. Average drinks. The Mexican Mule is a must try. Amazing service. Very cozy place! We will be going back

Amazing vibe great music cant go wrong for live music. Desserts were on point too, unexpected surprise! Full bar, full dinner menu and attentive staff. If you bring your date, you will win great points. Good option to have periods of enjoying the music or intimate chats however the date turns out. Make a reso by phone, highly recommended!
The show was amazing but the food and the drinks we're just ok unfortunately. I had the duck and some sangria. The service was very friendly so I might go back and choose something else from the menu!
