Solid breakfast food place with a good variety of breakfast options.Universal Déjeuners et Grillades has cute soft glam vibes and definitely a great spot during sunny and warmer days.Great location for travellers to start their day before walking down the same road for shopping.
Came here on a whim when we were looking for a patio on a randomly sunny and warm day. It was the first patio we saw so we sat down and grabbed a poutine, onion rings and sangria. The sangria was okay, and I enjoyed the poutine and the onion rings. Best part though was the service! Sabrina, our server, was fantastic - so friendly and funny. Give her a raise!!! ?
I had a universel burger. They were generous on the bacon, if you like that! The meat patty really had a charcoal taste. It was so good. The meat really was the star. Couldn't taste much of the mushroom.For the sides you got a few choices. I had the sweet potato fries. They were really delicious, and their mayonnaise was amazing ! Slightly spicy.I didn't try but the desserts looked tasty!Service was fast and good. They have happy hour with wine, sangria (white, blue, red IIRC), etc.

Went in here on a whim and really liked it. The servers were all very friendly and extremely attentive. They helped make choices and the whole situation felt very genuine.The food was also delicious.

Came here with a friend this afternoon. The food was pretty much what you'd expect from a standard brunch place (perhaps a tad pricey for the quality/quantity..) But the restaurant is super clean and we were well social distanced. Service was good too with food coming out pretty quick (granted, we did come at 1:00pm and past the lunch rush). Main reason I'd give it 5 stars is because our server Ariam was SUPER friendly and welcoming: she'd regularly check in to see how we were doing and was even joking with us by the end of our meal. Great customer service from her, and also from the others who would also periodically check by our table and greeted us on our way in/out.
I went to dinner tonight unpretentiously, and felt extremely welcomed! Thomas was the one who attended me at the reception and directed me to the table, super polite and kind.The waiter who served me wine knew the protocol and was always very attentive... I am used to going to some places where the food is great but the staff not so much; but in this place I loved the staff and the food was excellent. I will definitely go back, it's very worth it!
This was a thoroughly enjoyable and surprising experience. From the outside it seemed like a fancy wedding hall; as soon as we sat we realized it's like an upscale diner. Loved the ambiance. The food was on point - so many options (vegetarian burrito was incredible), great combinations of flavors and textures (Billy Goat Benedict ?) and filling portion sizes with a tasteful and perfectly balanced fruit bowl included. Can't post without mentioning the fantastic service - our server (guy with the cool earring!) was a true professional and went above and beyond - the genuine humor and banter were also happily relished. Thank you!!
