DONT GO THERE!!!! They delete your bad reviews on Instagram so all you see is the good reviews from staff members that pretends to be customers Very rude and aggressive staff I waited 50min for a simple salad then when I asked the manager about the whereabouts of my salad he started attacking me verbally and insulting me Very cheap quality chicken I almost got poisoned They blocked me on Instagram becose I complained So if you don't want to waste your TIME and MONEY! DONT GO THERE
Service médiocre, attente de 2 hres juste ppur prendre notre commande. Commande arrive froid, manque de gestion dans la distribution des commandes à notre table …. Franchement, impossible de dire que ce fut une belle soirée. Vraiment déçue
We went last night for our first time as a group of 3 friends. The place is really nicely decorated and comfortable. The staff is so nice. We had an amazing waitress (unfortunately can’t recall her name). We shared a cocktail pitcher which was quite good (although not sure how much alcohol was in it). The food was amazing. We tried several items and shared all of it. I’d recommend this place and do plan on returning one day.
The early evening vibe is very nice, but not a big fan of the "bar time" loud music. It's better to go in the day time if you are not a fan of music turned up to 11.The staff was very nice, and service was great. However, the food was a miss for me. The oxtail doesn't taste like anything out of the ordinary, instead it tastes like home cooking. I also had the guava wings, the sauce was tasty but the wing tips were burned to carbon.
Wings and sausage Appy were delicous. Main course of Griot and Jerk chicken was good. Drinks were tasty, mine was a tad orange juice heavy, a smaller glass might have been better.Service was very good, I am gluten intolerant and they took great care.
We made a reservation for 4 people on saturday night and when we arrived we were told that we only had 1hr45 minutes to eat...The food was decent (the jerk chicken is pretty good), not better than other caribean places, but the drinks were very average. As a cocktail amateur I was pretty disappointed. However, this place has a great ambiance with good music, cool decoration and friendly staff who don't know the menu.Overall the place was ok but with a short limited time (at least 2 hours will be appreciated), average food and cocktails, 18% service fee for group of 6 people and more.. I had really high expectations for this place since I've seen it everywhere on socials.I had a reservation at 10:30 and I've been able to sit at 11:40. There was a security gard who preferred to be on his phone rather than make sure everyone was waiting in line and the hostess seemed lost, overwhelmed. The restaurant's entry was chaotic. I've never experienced something like that before!It would have been nice to at least receive a shot or something to excuse them, as many other places do.We had to ask for someone to take our orders and didn’t even know who was our waitress. Plus, we had to ask more than twice to receive our receipts. The boss boy was really attentive, though!However, the ambiance and the music were really nice. The place is very well decorated.We ate the oxtail mac n cheese and the jerk poutine and it was delicious.The drinks were good too. The “bon bagay” tastes like heaven.Unfortunately, for the poor management of the reservations and the time of wait, I won't be returning to this place.I believe it was my personnal experience that was bad.
I had such high expectations for my first date night post lockdown. The disappointment came fast. Reservation was for 9, it still took half an hour for the hostess to take us to our table. I had asked for a table during our reservation, but they tried to give us the worst one, the one almost blocking the entrance. We ended up choosing the bar instead.They sat us at the bar, and it was straight up sticky. I had to ask them to wipe the counter. I was grossed out by the fact that my glass was face down on that nasty counter. The food and drinks came out quickly and were good, except for the rice and the beans, which lacked flavour. Since the food was tasty and the music was good, we tried to make the best of it. But then, even though we still had food and drinks in front of us, the rude hostess came to tell us our hour and a half was up and we basically had to go. Where they do that at?! Despite all that, we tipped well since the servers did their best and were in no way responsable for the management/hostess. I am truly disappointed. I don't think I'll be going back, nor will I be recommending it.
Only disappointment was I asked not to be seated at the bar and we unfortunately were. Turned out to be a good thing cause we were able to stay longer !! Great place, always good times when we go there.
