I always hit The Keg Steakhouse where ever I am in Canada. I arrived on the evening of July 11th for dinner. I sat at the bar and was greeted by a friendly bartender. I ordered the baseball sirloin steak which was under cooked and average tasting, but the twice baked potato was superb. I find that The Keg in Alberta has superior beef, as I did not get the quality of steak that I expected out of any restaurant in Montreal.

We went to The Keg at Place Ville Marie on August 3rd. We were seated at a table in the bar area near the fireplace. Quite cozy. There was a mix of spicy Caesars and Sangria before dinner The bread was tasty as always, with a 3 cheese butter. We each had a different meal, one regular sirloin steak, one 14 oz prime rib, one teriyaki sirloin steak and I had a Keg Classic prime rib with seafood topping. All the beef plates were excellent, as were the accompanying sides. As the birthday boy, I had a piece if Billy Miner pie, tasty as always. Perhaps the coffee could have been hotter, but not enough of an issue to ruin a good meal. Service was efficient and friendly. A good evening at a familiar place.

Was in Montreal on a solo adventure. Travelled from ON to QC to take in a Cirque du Soleil show. Opted to go to The Keg for dinner as it was close to the venue, within walking distance. Iâm so happy that I chose this restaurant. My steak was phenomenal. Perhaps the best Iâve ever had.
Les calmars étaient vraiment trop Cuits , très sec juste de la panure. Les champignons Neptune nâétait pas cuit, le fromage froid et non fondu.
Lâaccueil a été très chaleureux. Louis-Philippe nous a offert un service vraiment impeccable. La nourriture était excellente. Jamais, on ne sâest senties pressées. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre repas.
We had a reservation but we still waited 30 min to get a table. The waiter made a mistake about our drinks twice and they brought the main course without even looking if we were done with our entrees but otherwise the food was very good.
The downtown location has great views from the terraces, which give you a view of a bustling part of the city. Our waiter was thoroughly professional and attentive, and the food was excellent. We had a couple of drinks afterwards and enjoyed the night air. It was a great place to celebrate our 18th anniversary.
