Only place in Montreal with tatami mats! Delicious noodle options, the owner is super sweet and the service went above and beyond

Lovely staff. My friends and I shared three dishes. The Udon Curry soup was my favorite. The Donburi somehow felt like it belonged in a european restaurant, but was good. The tampopo was equally good but I feel like it lacked salt and a bit of flavor.Overall a good restaurant and would go again.

"Laksa" they offered was a mediocre Pad Thai with creamy coconut sauce, making the already quite greasy pad thai way too heavy... and definitely not laksa. The service was similarly mediocre and I felt the concept was a bit off with most dishes; is this meant to be a fusion cuisine (my initial guess)? I don't think so. However does not seem to be a "pan-asian" place either per se. I believe owners are Japanese, including the chef, as I could hear them talk in Japanese. We had not had the chance to taste any of the Japanese items on their menu; my guess is those may be better (and if so, I wish they stuck to those only). One clear plus is how well allergy details are documented & staff is well informed. When I inquired about gluten status of the Japanese style eggplant side dish, she mentioned that there is soy sauce in it hence not gluten safe (we had a person with celiac in our party). But even if your issue is such allergic safety, frankly there are better restaurants 2 mins away.

Great menu but was disappointed with my dish... will try something else next time.

Great little restaurant in the Montreal plateau. Asian cuisine. Awesome vibe and decor. Excellent service. Had the chicken coconut curry, tofu spring rolls & miso soup. * One thing to note...they currently don't serve alcohol *

Great vegan selection. The chef completely customized our order. Loved the Ramen!

We had their ramen and their laksa. Please note that if you're coming for legit Asian food, you will leave very unsatisfied. I was horrified to see that the laksa came on a plate with thick sauce smothered all over it.Laksa is usually a bowl of hearty, spicy soup noodles with the most aromatic coconut flavours. So imagine my surprise when it came out on a plate? The ramen itself was quite bland. I guess maybe if I had zero expectations for that dishes, I might have been alright with the final results. But if I'm ordering something on the menu named "laksa" or even "pad Thai", I will have prior expectations for what I'm going to eat. And that ultimately led to my disappointment after making the trek out to Tampopo.

I had the Thai Chicken Red Curry in Rice take out yesterday and there was literally one small morsel of Chicken the size of a marble in it with no vegetables. I was paying for sauce and plain white rice! This was insulting! How skimpy and cheap can you be! Never again!

Skimpy food with no love in it with little ingredients. Very disappointing!

J’adore les nouilles asiatiques..j’aime bien
