Been eyeing this place for months, finally ordered it today. Got the curried vegetable and sweet potato pie as well as the big stack as a side.Oh man, wish I didn't take so long to check this place out! The big stack was delicious, the gravy is extremely flavourful. The real star was the pie, though. The curried veggies and sweet potatoes were delicious and the pie crust was moist and flaky but with a slight crisp around the edges.Definitely ordering again and trying more of the pies soon. An absolute gem of Montreal.
Delicious takeout pies. They come in a cute handheld container that you can open more as you eat more.The curried veg specifically was fantastic and not heavy.

Worth a try we had the steak and mushrooms pie n the butter chicken pie. Very flaky and delicious and greasy. The STACK which is mashed potatoes, mushy peas and gravy was ok but would be better separately
OMG some of the best mac and cheese I’ve ever had…. And I’ve tried hundreds of mac and cheeses, pretty much get it every time it’s on a menu. The white wine was a nice touch, it even have a bit of spice to it and just sooo flavorful. Also perfectly lusciously creamy, with a crunchy caramelized cheese topping.The pie was delicious too, I got the vegetarian curry one. SOOOO happy I found this place for takeout!!!Wish they were open later for dinners
Picked up a steak and cheese, and butter chicken pie. It was off the chain. Had some utterly delicious pies during my time in straya. Felt like i was in dandenong. Definitely the best on this side of the hemisphere and then some. TA
Ta pies make the best pies in the city. I regularly buy tonnes to freeze and have delicious food for a long time! The people are super friendly and welcoming.
The clerk highly recommended their vegetarian sausage roll. I love their butter chicken pie, but decided to try it and it was incredible! Very glad I tried it. Good friendly service and great food.
I did not expect that much from cheap meat pies and boy was I wrong! The flavors and textures are great, it's filling, it's cheap, the staff is nice. The place looks good and clean as well. I will be back for sure!
When ever we come to Montreal we must go to Ta pies. They have the best pies, flaky, delicious crust with loads of savory fillings. My husband is from Australia and he knows his pies!
