Came here for drinks and oysters with friends and a bit expensive for what it is. The suwu lemonade would be much better stirred but they don't give you a straw to do that, otherwise it's missing some kick to it. The fries and aioli sauce are good, the oysters aren't bad either, they tasted fresh. Quite loud so don't come here if you wanna catch up but staff is nice and this place is rolling so keep in mind it's fast paced. Not a great place to eat, more of a nice cocktails place before heading somewhere else.

SUUUPPPER OVERPRICED. Very tiny portions for the price, food is fine, but not worth it with so many other great restaurants on St Laurent. Staff are not very friendly, none of them were wearing masks and the mask bylaw is still in effect. The server barely came to check in on our table, we ordered more drinks and when they never came, we had to go find the server talking with friends on the other side of the restaurant and she thought we were lying and trying to get more drinks for free. Super unprofessional, cute atmosphere not worth it at all.

As every other review will tell you, to be a wildly overpriced bar on st laurent with poor quality staff is wild.I had the experience of cutting my lip on a broken drink glass and as I informed my waitress, she just looked at me confused like I was causing her a major inconvenience. She took the glass back and never came back to our table. A different waitress came over and presented me my tab for 14.85 for one drink that I paid while blood ran into my mouth.Absolutely horrendous and there’s a million other places in this city. As a local I won’t be coming back.

Racist?! I went on a Saturday night, the group of black girls in front of us were not allowed in, although it was like 10:30pm, there was NO ONE in line, they didn't get any explanation as to why, but my friend and I (non black) were let in without a question. Very suspicious of the place. :/Drinks cost more than minimum wage, but taste alright. The music was good. But staff is racist (at least the one allowing people in).

I’m really disappointed with tonight. All of the staff were very insensitive and we’re not accommodating to my friend with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (a severe medical condition which causes her to faint and not regulate her own body temperature). Her jacket was stolen and the staff did not even allow her to stay inside to remain warm until our uber came - she was shivering since since she could not regulate her own body temperature and would probably die if she were out in the cold in the state she was in. There was only once nice man who came at the end to help out and allow us to stay, but all the rest of the staff (all of the women) were incredibly rude and forcing us to get out using cuss words. One man told me I was being "dramatic" for informing him about my friend who has POTS. There is absolutely NOTHING dramatic about sticking up for my friend. It took a lot of energy for her to come out for my birthday but we were all really excited to do so, we all spent a lot of money, and there was no respect from the staff. I will not be returning to this establishment. Thank you to the man who allowed us to stay an extra 5 minutes - the only sane person in there. Everything was fine up until the end, even though there were some confrontational occurrences with the waitresses. Your staff really needs to be taught on how to be respectful and kind … especially to people with medical conditions. Just because someone does not look like they suffer medically, doesn’t mean they don’t. I cannot believe the ignorance of the staff - very discriminatory human beings. I do not expect this service in an well-known city like Montreal, let alone a well known bar like SuWu. They are way too worried about the police showing up to their establishment and not worried at all about their customers who support the place and need a little accommodations (staying an extra 5 minutes). They should be more worried of the ambulance coming than police. Once again, the cussing and utter disrespect was unbearable for all of us and never have I ever been spoken to worse than tonight. Go to literally anywhere else on St. Laurent and you will get better service. SHAKER and Warehouse are great options - the staff has always been super friendly and accommodating. Only go to SuWu if you support stuck-up people who discriminate those with disabilities.

Nice atmosphere for drinks but the food has nothing special and its overpriced.I wouldn't recommend eating there if youre really hungry.9$ for a tiny burger that i can get at belle province for better taste and price. Only good thing was the fried chicken, but its a very little portion. Eat somewhere else and go there for drinks.

Nice place, very instagram worthy for pictures. Seating is a bit awkward with either lounge chair/booth style or high chair seating. Staff is a bit too easy going and not fast enough for an establishment on the street they are located on. Waiters are also working the bar so it's slow. Food is sub par, burger meat is non existent, fried chicken is good, fries are as expected. White sangria was good. Bathrooms are tight and could be cleaner.Would recommend for drinks but not for food.

Cute environment when it's not littered with drunken teens. BUT - if you're a drunken teen, this is a great place for you to dance and get decently priced drinks.

Loud hiphop and creative drinks. Just a touch to loud for me as I couldn't hear anyone but I figure it's the space.

Used to be a decent place but has turned around after covid. Their happy hour which was a staple is now gone. I understand that money may be tight during covid but as a restaurant you just can’t serve greek salad that looks like this. It had no feta, and like 3 tomato slices with the middle green parts still present. Very disappointing and honestly shocking.
