Montreal iconic place. Great bagels, yes better than NEW York bagels. Very different and not comparable, a must try when you come to Montreal. Buy some creme cheese or smoked salmon tondo with your bagel.

I find the bagels kind of heavy and dense. Fairmount bagels are bigger and lighter. PSA- St-Viatur bagels have more calories than Fairmount's.
Sesame bagel was good. Comparisons with Fairmount are inevitable: bagels here less sweet (so sesame shone more), slightly cheaper, more irregularly shaped & browner, & more sesame seeds here.
World famous Montreal bagels, we’ve tried both Fairmount, and Saint Viateur Bagels, we both love Saint Viateur’s bagels more. It’s sweet, warm, tasty, and fresh. We wish we have bagels like this in Vancouver.

Had the pleasure of visiting st viateur bagel shop last week! Really enjoyed their everything and poppy seed bagel with cream cheese! Eat eaten warm
