Not bad. Like many places, they really just give you a big plate of rice with some meat on top. I had a mixed platter, and I got two small pieces of chicken and a few slices of gyro meat. It also came with potatoes, salad, and a pita. The flavour was good, but also very greasy. The standout here was the garlic sauce that came in a small container on the side; it was a knockout and I wish they gave me more. I could have put it on everything. Other than that, it certainly was quite tasty, but not really anything special.
I've been coming here for years, in its current incarnation as a Greek restaurant. There has been a restaurant at this location since my highschool and university years. The interior has gotten a much needed refresh and looks much more modern. During the pandemic it seems to have transitioned into more of a counter service with tables on the spacious terrace. At this whole time, the souvlaki on pita is a good quality I think it's gotten a bit better, actually. There seems to be some added emphasis on presentation, including packaging for takeout. Price wise it's still a bargain, based on the quality of the food that you get. It's a great deal, especially if you're a student as well as being conveniently located steps away from the university and nearby schools.
This place was a pleasant surprise!?I barely put the phone down after ordering the food for 3 when; ding dong!The food arrived and both the receptionist and delivery guy AJ were a delight to deal with!☺️. The food was excellent and the pita ( although I was warned of it’s tastiness ) threw us for a loop! My God it was heavenly ??. The pita was the selling feature no doubt !Dear God I’m salivating again. I’m off to order again! ???Love Modesty ?
Absolutely delicious food, generous portions, top notch service, fair prices... not sure what else to say.I couldn't say anything bad about my experience here if I had to.I highly recommend, and I am definitely coming back!
as a pescatarian the calamari was very hard and chewy and tastless. The packaging is not environmentally friendly whatsoever. regret buying it. (only thing good were the potatoes)
*Edit* I had diarrhea the next day. I know it was 100% this tasty meal. Which is a shame. Because I enjoyed it so much....Really delicious. Flavorful and done perfectly.I am not usually happy with take out food. But this surprised me. Will definitely order again.
I really like this restaurant, what I enjoy the most beside the food is their costumer service!!!.The son and daughter are VERY polite and professional.
I'd heard good things, I tried it and found the price was reasonable for the lamb souvlaki. The lamb was a bit overdone but it was near closing time so I'm giving the benefit of the doubt. Would eat here again.
i used to order here almost every single day back in the day when i lived in the big st remi lofts that got torn down next to the super hospital. im sure i was the best client lol. they used to be open till like 5 am !! i couldnt resist the craving at 2 am lol. the special house sauce is an absolute must to dip your fries in! thank me after u try it ! the gyros are big and filling, and unlike other restaurants when i asked for extra tzatziki sauce in the pita they actually give it ! i moved far away and havent eaten here in like 10 years. but now i live in st henri, so i ordered for the first time in over 10 years through doordash last week. it was bigger and better than i remembered !! the Owner george is a stand up guy too. highly recommend this place. thanks george! your old #1 client, Costa. p.s. i wish this place was open past 10 pm !! part of me feels like reaching out to george and see if he lets me manage and run the place past 10 pm again. i woulda ordered another 2 times this week ! the 2 gyro trio is too filling and delicious !! but dont forget the house sauce for your fries ! cheers ! 10/10
