This restaurant was recommended to me by many of my Peruvian friends. In general it was a nice experience. I really enjoyed my seafood ceviche. It was just citric enough and the seafood was fresh. However, I wasn't too much of a fan of their fried calamari. They were a little overcooked and were a bit chewy. A friend still liked it and ordered the meal. The restaurant seems small by just looking at the ground floor. But I was surprised to see how big it was on the 2nd floor. There were a lot of large groups for birthday parties. They played the happy birthday song for every single guest that was celebrating their birthday. And it was one after the other. So it was went on for 4-5 consecutive times. It was annoying after a while. I don't remember the name of the dessert, but it was like a little harder version of a doughnut. It was a bit bland. If you've never tried Peruvian food, this is a good option. The prices are fair and they are generous with their portions. The service was bit on the slow side, but understandable due to all the groups they had and the restaurant was packed.

Inconsistent food. First 2 times I went, the food was really good. Last time I went, about a month ago, the food was extremely salty. We can barely finish half of the food and end up eating instant noodle after getting back to my hotel. The soup was great the first 2 times. But this time I left the whole soup untouched after drinking the first spoon.

Great food, great atmosphere! Ordered mussels, tamales and beef dish with rice. The mussels were no all clean properly some mussels were not debearded. The tamales and the beef dish were great. Waited quite a bit for server to get our order and a bit for food to arrive.

Horrible, the chicken was served frozen. They didn’t even put it back in the oven, it was literally cold frozen. It is really a disappointment, because when it came out in Laval, everything was fresh and delicious, but now,it is frozen garbage.

Muy mala experiencia con la comida y no quisieron rembolsar mi dinero ellos decidieron que hacer con mi dinero muy mala experiencia lastima siempre a sido muy buen restaurante y al final no me rembolsaron lo q es sino lo que ellos quisieron

A great Peruvian restaurant. I have tried the Cebiche Solymar(a mix of fish and shrimp marinated in lemon juice), Leche de Tigre(fish cooked in ceviche juice) and Jalea Solymar (a mixed of breaded fish, mussels, breaded shrimp and fried manioc), which are a must-try! The portions are big enough for 2 to 3 people and the taste is simply superb!

Excellent food and service!

Muchas gracias a la mejor camarera Valentina pour el buen servició que nos dio. Con un grupo muy indisciplinado!

The antichucos was tasty a little bit salty but enjoyable. My favourite was the purple corn drink this was one of my favourite drinks when I was in Peru. So was quite happy to see they had large pitchers of it available to order. Ideal for those who love sweet drinks.

Disappointing. The worst seafood I had and it was all frozen not even fresh.Had the fried mixed seafood Dish (36$) which was mainly calamari and 3 piece of shrimp, couple piece of fish filets and one mussel. They used the same batter for all seafood, no seasoning, very bland. The sauces they provide didn’t have much flavour. Also had the steam seafood dish (34$). Mainly mussels, couple pieces of shrimp and calamari. It was not that good either.Overall, very disappointing and it’s very overpriced for frozen seafood. The waitress was quite rude when we said the food was just okay as they can not take any criticism. She just slapped the bill on the table after we paid and left.
