This was the high point of our visit to Montreal - the whole trip was great (thanks for asking!), but this just returned to top it all off.We were taken here for a couple visits with local friends who chose Winston's because it stands out so much. Ok, the mural of Leonard Cohen also stands out, but I would say that Winston's matches it; the pub and the nightclub both provide guests with the best - great food, great service, great entertainment. The whole of Crescent Street is entertaining; we walked through here on our first night in town and that made us want to come back. When we came back a few days later we were given the best at Winston's.The pub was a super place to spend an afternoon sipping drinks on the deck. We shared a bunch of dishes: the pizza was simple but fulfilling - the crust worked beautifully with the tomato sauce and pepperoni and there was an excellent amount of cheese on top. The poutine worked just as well - we all wanted even more when it was done - and from there we loved the jambalaya and shared a couple tasty salads to try to be healthy. It all was all looking and smelling - and then tasting - so good that I didn't get any pictures of food! (well, only the last slice of pizza)The hostess and waitress were so nice and gave us a little tour of the different floors in the afternoon before the club opened up that evening, so I took some photos. The club - Winnie's - is a big space and it filled smoothly. There's a few bars in there, a lot of bartenders, and great bottle service at the tables! The DJs kept the club thumping - ah, it took me back. Most people were a lot younger than the few in our group that are middle aged, but the whole place just worked for all.We wandered out to the street and then went back upstairs to finish the night off. Again, the whole street was having a good time but we loved Winston's. Excellent staff again, and a great selection so we got a wide range of drinks enjoy; and easy way to have something different each time.A super pub and my favorite club of the millennium. We'll be looking forward to it next time we're back in town!

I like the idea of this restaurant! Lovely and nice! A good place to have fun with your friends or it can be a good place to have romantic chatting with your love!I should advise you about the cisar salad! It has amazing taste!I'm not glad to point out one thing that night we were there about the beautiful waiter who was served us! She hadn't polite behaviour! And she made us surprised! She was young but it's not good excuse to be like that!

Great terrasse during summer, middle of Crescent street downtown. There was a waiting list to be seated, my girl friend and I waited by the bar as directed...we waited a while do I decided to go check on our status. Turns out they had thrown away the sheet and we could have been waiting forever!! At least they felt bad and accommodated us quickly. Ordered the Ocean Sangria, was watered down. But the smoked meat sandwich was pretty good. Came back at night for the dancing part and the music was great, we had a good time here.

I don't know what but it was a lot different than I remembered it 2 years back before pandemic.I went there on Sunday night and the place was just not as lively as it used to be.The service was great but the food was just ok.

We found this pub by chance and it surprised us! Let's say it is a club pub rather than just a pub! So get ready to have a fun night and lots of dancing with LOUD good quality music!Other than that, it was pretty busy but they brought our order and drinks very fast! The quality was ok.Highly recommended if you wanna drink, dance and have fun.

This is your standard pub, but with quite a wide variety of food. It even had pizza for our finicky daughter. I had the smoked meat sandwich which was simple but tasty. We all liked our food. The list of draft beers was quite limited, and next to no microbrews. For Montreal, the home of so many craft breweries and craft beer bars, that was a bit of surprise and disappointment. This pub needs to up its beer list to stay competitive. Otherwise it will be stuck with the tourist crowd as it's just a block from the Museum of Fine Arts. Service was friendly and good. Prices were very reasonable for downtown Montreal.

Found this place by accident! The huge bearded doorman was kinda hard to miss. Glad I came in! Burger, fries, desert all great; awesome cocktail menu! I’ll be back.

Very poor service, the waitress was slow to service even our drinks not a mind our food. A group of men came in a bit after we arrived and she serviced them everything before us and kept us waiting even when we only asked for an extra coke. She was chatting to the men for ages and brought them their food while we were still left waiting. It’s my first trip to Montreal and I was very disappointed. We asked another waitress could she help us and eventually our server came to us but had to go and get our order so we were left waiting again. She was not one bit helpful and it was obvious she only wanted to service men rather then women as another group of men came in later and the same thing happened again. Not one of the waitresses was one bit helpful. I normally don’t leave bad reviews but I never experienced the likes of this. We came on Nov 5th at around 6.30pm. It’s wasn’t even busy at this time just extremely bad service, would avoid if your female!

Sad to see that once a staple establishment is now so empty because of the pandemic. Still happy to see that after a long time, it's still there. We came in late, so the kitchen was closed. The staff was friendly and they respected the sanitary rules in place. The drinks were a bit of hit and miss depending on what you order, but overall, still good.

Went there a couple of Saturdays with friends. Each time, Ariel served us with a smile on her face, helpful recommendations and with extremely quick service, despite the fact that the patio was packed with people. We enjoyed each stay and we will be back. Until then, please give Ariel a raise or even better, shares in the company. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Montreal, cheers!
