Two of my friends and I visited today. The place is nice and cozy, staff are cool. But I ordered a London fog and Chocolatine and my friend got the croissant. The tea was all right, though the moment the chocolatine entered my stomach, it immediately rejected it and I started feeling unwell, I had to use the bathroom almost immediately and later on I started feeling lightheaded for the whole day, same thing happened to both my friends when they ate the croissants.
Great coffee selection, awesome microbrews and wines. the place looks good, pastries tasty. Loved it.
Consistently great coffee and pastries. An escape from downtown bustle. The space is simultaneously restful and energizing due to the diverse seating options, natural light, and green life. There's a vast selection of coffee beans, cider, wine, and beer to take home.
For the atmosphere I’d say 5/5 but for the coffee:I ordered an Americano and a brewed coffee. The brewed coffee was not up to my taste and was sour. The Americano I had was better but it had room to be improved. It had bit of body to it but I wish it was more. I also ordered an almond croissant and it was good.Overall, I’ll return to this place for the vibe and the fact that the staff were super nice. It would be lovely if they serve a bit darker or less fruity coffee for folks who like their coffee to be just like their lives: bitter-sweet!I hope this review helps :)
Outstanding flat white & breakfast bagel!
Super cute cafe that serves great coffee and has a nice cozy vibe. It’s a great place to catchup with a friend and quiet enough to study. Highly recommend!
Super cute spot! Really charming with always cute background music. The coffe is really good but very pricey!!!!Side note tho! You might need a post grad in coffeology or something. Seems like you cant ask for a regular black coffee without getting into the specifics of the brewing methods ? but other than that, i recommend!
Great coffee, good pastries but terrible cakes.I tried the 2 different cakes they had (cranberry/ginger and banane/chocolate), both did not taste anything but sugar. Very disappointed as they were expensive too.Would go again for coffee and pastries only, love their moka and chocolatine.
Lovely little spot. They only have one size of coffee, tho, so for caffeine addicts like me you might have to order two all for yourself. But tasty baked goods and a funky atmosphere make up for the tiny coffee cups.
Has the best cappuccinos and croissants in all of Montréal. Never disappoints. The staff is amazing and very skilled at their craft. Highly recommend heading to the Shaughnessy Cafe for some delicious coffee and tasty pastries.
