Absolutely love this place. One of the best breakfast sandwich in Montreal, but don’t miss the fried chicken sando, the lambwich or the avocado toast which are all stellar.Great coffee of course, and efficient yet attentive staff.
Great place, but weird seating areas if you are going to eat. The pancakes were delicious, and the sticky buns even better. Coffee 4/5.Their social media team is not very responsive. Messaged to ask if they’re open on Easter and got no reply. Tried to call but no one ever answered.
I absolutely love September. The vibe of the café is immaculate. The food and drinks are also incredible. In my opinion, their chicken burger is the best in all of Montreal it is absolutely delicious. It goes great with a side of their fries which are also incredible. As far as more breakfast like items, the pancakes are very good and fluffy. Their pastries and banana bread are also noteworthy, the banana bread melts in your mouth. September is my favorite spot in Montreal for a quick coffee and pastry or even a bigger more filling lunch/brunch because everything is so delicious.
It's not a place to chill, you can't even hear your friends talking. It's always busy and the staff seem not to really care about what's going on. The coffee is fairly one of the bests in Montreal, but the food is very ordinary. I ordered pancakes and I only could eat the top two, because the last one was filled with maple syrup and too sweet to eat. they tasted very good though so if I go there again, I'd ask for maple syrup on the side.
A perfect little cafe.Anything you get on the menu is perfect!Their breakfast sandwich is DELICIOUS, and truly the cure to any hangover. They make great coffees, and also a decent matcha and chai latte.Service is a little slower, but you can order online ahead of time which is super convenient! The space is also a little tiny, so if you go during peak hours, you might not have a seat inside, but their outdoor terrace is cute for a summer cafe spot.
Cozy, small cafe, breakfast, brunch place. Anything you order is delicious, fresh and clean. Everything they use in their dishes makes sense, and is absolutely lovely. Everyone working there are very nice too!
Worth the drive to Saint-Henri for the food alone. I got the breakfast sandwich and the quinoa chicken salad to share and it was so good.It almost makes no sense why this cafe would have such delicious food but they do and I highly recommend. I ate on their patio and it was in the sun which made for the most pleasant lunch in the sun.Great prices for amazing food with great products displayed for purchase and great aesthetics for instagram pictures. The coffee glass was so pretty!
Yes, it's expensive but totally worth the try. You HAVE to try the pancakes! The fluff of the pancakes was out of this world and they top it with butter and sea salt which makes for an incredible taste. The coffee was outstanding but I was a bit disappointed with the broken/cracked mugs (I think they were going for a hipster/rustic vibe with this but broken mugs for me is a no-no). The avocado toast was surprisingly spicy and tangy...very delicious and the most decently priced item. Although not the best southern biscuit in the city, their biscuit breakfast sandwich was delicious! Post-pandemic this place is not a good study/work spot (e.g. no wifi) but overall September Cafe is a must visit in Montreal.
Nice trending unique place with interesting dishes. I had the halloumi toast which was great, something new is always welcome in the very familiar world of breakfast/brunch dishes.
Love it. Food excellent. Staff kind and helpful. It's a lot of fun to sit outside.
