It's been a long time I did eat there. Same ambiance, very good for discussing over dinner. Meat is fresh and service is fast.
Excellent food and service. Food came to the table fast and server were always nearby to respond to our requests. Recommend.
The food was good. In terms of cuts of meat, I would recommend the pork belly and the sliced beef. The service was relatively slow from the moment you ordet however. Our server was not attentive to us at all (for instance, we asked for chopsticks and never got it). There was a mixed up with our orders (and it seemed to have had happened to the table besides us as well)
Friendly staff, fast service. There’s no rsvp, it’s first come first serve. We waited about 45 min in line outside. Drinks are average and the food are pretty good. Overall we all had fun and full. The server guy was super nice and gave us whatever we needed( chopsticks, napkins, refill water etc). Will come back.
C’est un expérience sensorielle, excellente grillade , service superbe , sushi de bel composition… mais si vous voulez que votre expertise ce soit exceptionnel prenez la salade qui est incroyable
Too mediocre to be worth your money, and time!We always saw the line outside and wanted to understand what the hype was about…anyway after a considerably short wait (20 minutes) we got in!There wasn’t much of an atmosphere in there, other than loud club music vibes. As a vegetarian, i don’t think you could ever get your moneys worth. Also all the vegetables have absolutely no marinade or sauce or anything, so I ended up soaking my veggies in soy sauce so they weren’t so boring and bland. Either way, vegetarians, get ready to eat onion and zucchini all night. The tofu appetizer is actually good if you grill it.Everything comes in realllllly small servings, so make sure to order accordingly, and extra. All of the meats came marinated which was nice. The highlights on the menu were the short rib and the pork belly which were excellent. The steak and pork chops were good but nothing to write home about. Avoid the fish as it isn’t marinated and not very flavourful.Sushi is not their strong suit but it is nice to snack on while waiting for your food to cook. Decent amount of filling but don’t expect anything special. No complaints about the service here! Everything got to us quickly.Overall, it’s a fun experience, but i don’t really get the hype!
1 thing you have to know about Seoul Chako is the wait times.Walking down Saint Catherine it looks like the hottest place in town.I enjoyed the merging of All-you-can-eat Sushi and BBQ,but I feel as though I didn't get the full BBQ experience and the Sushi didn't feel different from the orders we made.I am aware that working in an all you can eat is stressful, but it would've been nice if we recieved all the food we ordered. That aside, the entire vibe was lovely, I enjoyed the beef and the some of the sushi. I would recommend investing for the experience, although the food and service could use a little improvement.
Sadly, one of the worst dining out experiences I've ever had. We waited 2 hours outside because there are no reservations, then just before entering a group of 60+ bypassed the waiting line. Once in, we had to argue to get more than one stove for our birthday party of 8. The seafood was not fresh: scary. We consistently never received some ingredients. All the different sushi tasted the same (which is a bad sign of quality). Although I understand that in an all-you-can-eat the waiters are constantly being called for service, we really felt like they were doing their best to ignore us. In a restaurant where everyone does their own cooking, at least you'd expect the atmosphere and the service to be on point, not so. So obviously we felt so overcharged when the bill came. A definite Never Again from our whole party. There are way better Korean BBQ restaurants in Montreal.
Went on the Montreal island to see the Nicolas Party Exhibition at the MNBAM, i found a parking nearby for electric vehicles!. The exhibit was great, definitely a must before it goes away. Don’t forget to visit the other permanent exhibit while your there, they have a great variety of arts , especially Canadian ones¿ We then went on a hike from the museum to Seoul Chako, it tastes like … Teriaki… and the quantities you order are completely random.
The waitress was clearly new but really nice and patient, and the place is well decoratedBut, out of all the dishes, the first plate came cold and the last one was served 25min later. Rice came really late too and was dry and hard on top. For the price, neither quality nor quantity was good. It was expensive for no reason. Pork was still red, chicken not fresh. It was not really spicy nor tasty. Other waiters didn’t know the name of the dishes they were handing us out.Hygiene in the bathroom was poor, some of the water tasted funny. As an Asian i have never been that disappointed in a restaurant.
