We had a good time, the seats are more comfortable than many restaurants around. We had sangria (66$), it was good, but there was at least one ingredient missing, there was a lack of flavour. We both had salmon tartare and fries on the side. Cheap on croutons, fortunately it was really delicious! About service, it was quick and efficient, but some of your staff need to review how to approach customers. Thank you!
Food on point. I had the lobster highly recommended it. Service could have been better but under shortage of help our server did his best. Location is great.
Delicious food and pleasant ambiance. Would recommend and look forward to going back.
Very nice patio for summer evenings. Probably the best patio in Old Port. We have been a few times and really like the crab cake and mussels. The fries with the mussels are not great though. Should be bistro fries⦠long, thin and crispy. Pretty easy to change that so hopefully they will. We didnât Like their shrimp tacos as they were missing real flavor or spice. We usually get a bottle of prosecco for $55 which is reasonable. Service is friendly and attentive. We will keep going here for the summer.
We were seated and the manager explained that a couple of items were off. We ordered drinks and waited 45 minutes to get them, while bar staff and waitresses chatted. When they did arrive, the virgin mojito was not alcohol free, causing significant distress to the recovering alcoholic who ordered it. Staff apologised and said the drink would be taken off the bill, though this did not happen and had to be requested. When ordering food, we were told that both the starters and mains requested were no longer available, which is not what weâd previously been told. We amended our order and over 30 minutes later the waitress came back and told us that one of our mains was now also no longer available so the order was changed a third time. Though staff were friendly and apologetic, the overall feeling was of poor communication, lack of attention and significant delays. The food itself was tasty but overpriced.
Good meal, bad service. Really really slow for everything. I asked for salt⦠finished muy meal and the salt never came (did not honoured their own name!!!). Everything else was ok.
The service was terrible. It took over an hour and a half to get our appetizers which were oysters and then, another 40 minutes to get our meal. Waitress and wait staff rarely came around to the table. The group (4 people) next to us also were upset with the service and when they spoke to the manager, they were spoken to with nothing but rudeness. Will not be going there again.
Great food and excellent service, Try the oysters, are amazing
We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server Jordan was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. The wine selection was good with moderate pricing. We shared a huge Caesar salad, and for the main course had the grilled octopus and the lobster risotto. All dishes were properly prepared and presented. Dessert was a chocolate brownie with ice cream, the perfect end to a great meal. Though a bit pricey, it was a good dinner. I was a bit hesitant to book after reading some the of the reviews, but if there were any prior problems, the restaurant has attended those and remedied any problems. Also, this was the best location in Montreal if taking the evening ghost walk tour. We will return on our next trip to Montreal.
Fantastic!
