I have tried to go to this place before, but there is always something that puts me off. The waitress there earlier today looked at me with digust because I was with my dog...I do understand it's a poor area with lots of what comes with the area. Do they own also Aquinta, is being the worse hosts possible a family trait? 3 genarations later, one has to wonder how they can keep being on business. They probably own the building so hey, fair enough. Not for me, not worth a picture and lucky you, I will never consider that place of your ( changed name couple years ago) location ever and bring any of my clients. Too bad, I was just looking for a new place for them to go.
Food was absolutely delicious, we ordered only tapas, got most of them, had some Portuguese beer; and a bottle of vino verde. Delicious! The staff was amazing, we let the waitress pick out which tapas to get and how many.. she did not disappoint. Very very nice restaurant.

I have been living for years in the neighborhood before casually looking at the menu on the window of the restaurant one night, because delivery for Ma Poule Mouillée or Romados seemed to have unbearably long delivery times. So glad I did and sad I had only now discovered this gem of a restaurant! The charred skin and meat of the chicken grilled by charcoal was mouthwatering, and potatoes chips, thickly cut, crispy on the outside and soft inside, were among the best I've had. And the owner/cook was very welcoming and comes out of his way to say hi, even if I was just ordering to to go. Even after 3 days in the fridge, the chicken still tasted good. What a great neighborhood restaurant! Cannot wait to go eat there to try the other items on the menu. The food and interior atmosphere are reminiscent of my trip in Portugal pre-pandemic times!
This is the best place for amazing Portuguese ever in Canada, and the owner treats you like a member of his family!\\n\\nI love this place soooo much !
Big and delicious portions!! I have eaten my salad before I took a picture, but trust me it was awesome. Mixed Lettuce, tomatoes, olives, onions and a cool Balsamic vinegar mixed with oil. The sardine portion was decent. 3 fish. Doable. Huge portion of home made fries (Portuguese style). Rice with carrots - amazing, amazing, amazing. Ate it all! Yet minus 1 star for the flies. Guys, I know it's tough, but the fly ended in my drink before I have even tasted it!!! I get it's a season, perhaps, nevertheless, offer a discount for that extra protein, really...

Classic Portuguese decor. Kitchen is right at the entrance which is quite cool. We were a party of 8 and didn't have to wait at all, so could be good or bad?. Food was really good. I'd recommend the chicken(kinda the Portuguese specialty) but the other food looked good aswell! Definitely recommend for a casual night of good food!
