The ramen was actually decent. Flavourful broth, eggs were done very nicely as well. The Gyoza however were burnt and undercooked somehow with absolutely zero flavour. Even the dipping sauce had no flavour. My daughter couldn’t eat hers. The people were kind but I wouldn’t go again. There’s too many similar places where you can go to have a more consistent culinary experience.

I'm clearly not a ramen expert, just a fanboy, because it's pretty easy to satisfy me, and Sansotei didn't disappoint.Lovely decor, fast service, Hitachino nest beers ($$) and most importantly, delicious ramen. I tried the spicy tantan, it could have been a bit more spicy, but the broth was rich, lots of ground pork, the chasu was excellent, the egg perfectly cooked. You can choose thin or thick noodles. Price and portions are fair.Possibly my favorite ramen place in town.

This place was just alright. Music was loud and people were standing next to us talking to the table beside us. Their conversation lasted at least 10 min and none of the employees there bothered to tell them to sit down. In terms of food the gyoza was not fresh at all, the fried chicken was okay but they could’ve done more with the dipping sauce. The ramen which is probably the only thing you should order there was good, nothing remarkable but it’s super easy to mess that up and make it salty and I thought they did a good job with it. I would recommend just the ramen if you chose to come here but I personally would not come back again.

First time ordering from Sansotei Ramen, the broth was good not too salty. The portions is good for delivery , I ordered from other place and got smaller bowl for the same price. Also the option to get the broth on the side is nice if you live further away. It's not my favorite ramen in Montréal but i would definitely try it again if I'm in the area. :)

Best ramen I've eaten in Montreal yet, the flavors are so rich! The service is very friendly, the restaurant is clean and the interior design is really nice as well.

Super good ramen for a fair price. Really good and fast service ! Can only recommend :D

Very authentic tasting ramen. I've done 10-15 ramen crawls in Japan and this stuff is very much standard tasting Japanese ramen. Price is about right for what you get, too. Highly recommend this for a quick hot bite.

Sansotei was alright. They were out of a lot of stuff when went so was down to my third option. I wouldn't say the ramen here is all that great. The chicken on the other hand was fantastic. Very crispy and they used thigh meat which was great. Hot very crispy but still really juicy. So good I had two orders.

This place is a real Japanese Tonkotsu Ramen!!!I went twice during my stay in Montreal this summer. As a Ramen Lover you need to order the gyoza for appetizer. As you know Ramen is a Japanese soul food dish.Great place and great atmosphere!!!

Stormy day in Quebec City brought us back to Montreal earlier. We were craving comfort food and we remember seeing Sansotei Ramen while walking around the city.- tonkatsu- shoyu- black miso- spicy tan tan- yuzu cheesecakeYou can choose thin or thick noodles. We were all quiet while we devoured our ramen. The broth was good and not too rich, the way I like it. However, my family wanted more flavour "richer' taste. In Vancouver, there are lots of competitive amazing ramen restaurants especially downtown Vancouver and Richmond, BC which you can customize your broth. Regardless, it felt like 'home' while dining at Sansotei. One thing to note, while dining in Montreal, don't expect partitions between tables or table distance for health and safety. They do check QR code and so far, they all accept BC QR code with ID. This was during mid-November 2021. Service was great!
