Juicy pork and the pork and chive soup dumplings were delicious.

Delicious pork soup dumplings. Tasty (intensely flavoured) hot and sour soup, filled with proper ingredients - we enjoyed it, but noticed a table of locals did not finish their soup. Wife commented that perhaps the kitchen could make the soup a little less "tangy"and allow guests to add vinegar as needed. The chili oil condiment was savoury but not spicy (hot) enough for our tastes. Cold cucumber dish and cold noodles mostly authentic in presentation - cucumbers we have had elsewhere are usually "smashed a bit" before tossed in dressing. Nicely decorated within and relatively clean inside, including the washroom. Service once seated was just OK. They have to have a proper system of greeting and scheduling patrons waiting at the door. It is off putting to be told by the hostess/greeter, that it is a "20 minute wait" for a table - she then abruptly turns and walks away without taking our name etc, leaving us stranded amongst the others waiting at the front. We had to make further efforts to get the message across that we were willing to wait for a table, etc.

The main attraction here is Xiaolongbao ( pork dumplings) freshly produced on site immediately after the order was taken. All variations are good depending on your personal preference. As a transcript written on the wall said, the unique recipe was originally passed on from a small town in China since the Ching dynasty more than two hundred years ago. Enjoy!

Brilliantly air conditioned little dumpling shop - lots of variety and good vegetarian options. Dumplings arrive rapidly and are excellent - only small improvement would be provision of really hot chili oil - as the condiment provided on the table is pretty bland.

soup dumplings are amazing!

Amazing Xiaolongbao!! Got the fried dumplings as well as the pork, shrimp and coriander Xiaolongbao. An absolute delicious meal. This place is consistently great in terms of quality and the staff is always friendly. It’s also quite affordable for a bigger group. Really enjoyed the food and the outdoor ambiance, will definitely keep coming back!!

Two words: SOUP DUMPLINGS. Need I say more? I really don't need to, but I shall, because this place is fantastic. All of the dumplings we tried were gorgeous but you should definitely start with the original pork soup dumpling and make your way from there. The prices are very fair, it has a great atmosphere, friendly servers, and yes, the best dumplings ever.

1. Dumplings are super good and yummy2. Location is easy to find3. Very busy and wait times to get a table is between 10-30mins4. Wait time to take order is 10-15 minutes5. Wait time to get your food is 30-45 mins6. Expect to spend 2 hrs to get your food (First time, I happened to visit on a Saturday which I came back after waiting for 30 minutes in the queue outside the restaurant, and this review is based on my 2nd experience on a not very busy Tuesday)7. The food served is worth the wait!8. Very testy freshly in house made dumplings.

This is a quick eat place. The food is brought quickly and the service is good. The prices are very competitive. I would recommend for dumplings

After we checked into our hotel, we came this restaurant in nearby Chinatown for dinner; we were famished. The wait was short and we were seated in a booth. The staff were friendly and efficient. There’s a good selection of Shanghainese style soup dumplings xiao long bao XLB and potstickers at reasonable prices. We liked the pork and shrimp XLB, pickled cucumbers, cold peanut butter noodles, and loved the vegetarian pumpkin & cabbage mushroom vermicelli dumplings and the pork cabbage potstickers. The wonton soup was our least favorite.
