Expect slow and terrible service. We've been here for over half an hour after ordering a variety of dishes. The only food we got is tempura. There is no water left either.Edit: Had to raise my hand for over five minutes before anyone noticed and brought our bill. Their explanation? Some staff are in training. It was the worst service we received in Montreal.
I ordered three different types of Maki rolls. The Kamikaze rolls were very good. The salmon was fresh and the tempura flakes added a nice crunch. The spicy tuna and avocado rolls were the best of the bunch. The tuna was fresh as was the avocado. The salmon and avocado rolls were also very good. Fresh salmon and avocado. The quality of the rice was also very high. All in all Saiko has some of the best sushi rolls in Montreal.
Well worth the Omakase. Fish from Japan. I'll be back foe sure. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed

The best sushi & sashimi hands down in Montreal. Their omakase at the bar is what makes them stand out. It's authentic and always fresh. My husband and I go back again and again... If we lived next door we would be going everyday!
Great tasting food. We got the miso soup, seaweed salad, sashimi platter and spider roll. The sashimi was fresh and tender. The yellowtail tuna, in particular, was superb! The softshell crab in the spider roll was fried perfectly! Overall, a satisfying experience if a little bit on the pricier side.
Extremely lucky to have tried an intimate Omakase at the bar. Each peace was meticulously crafted and so authentic. I can eat here everyday. Pre-Covid, at least once a week for their Chirashi lunch ?. If you’re lucky you can get their fresh Uni and A5 wagyu (off menu). This dinner was a dream! We also went as a double date! Would recommend ????
Good food, nice sake and friendly service staffs and chef! If you ran out of ideas on what to order, request the chef to prepare something off the menu.
The chief was really friendly and sushi was the best I've ever had. Definitely I will visit agai.
