I recently visited Sabor Latino's St-Hubert location on a Sunday and decided to try out their hot lunch counter. My brother and I opted for the roast pork special with a side of rice, guacomale, salsa and plantain and found the combination to be tasty and cost effective at $15. If I was in the area again and wanted a solid, tasty enough meal, I'd be sure to revisit.
If you have 2$CAD buy a fresh salad; if you have 7.50$CAD buy fresh sweet tamales.... I took myself out to eat a wholesome, nourishing, delicous meal at my favourite grocery store. Tamales, plantanos, arroz, ensalada, pollo, yucca, arepas, papusas, flan..., it is always hard to pick only one.Kitchen and supermercado staff are trilingual, friendly, and professional. Meals are an affordable treat. I usually bring the children but today's visit was just for me to relax, stuff my face, and waddle home. We will eat the four tamales tonight!
