Was there twice this week. New owners but cooking staff is all the same. Place was amazing well run and very clean. Cool guy in the front named Allan. I was worried about the food not being the same. It was amazing? I was craving the food as they were closed for a while and it was great even better than I remember. Happy someone kept this institution running and kept all the positives parts of this hidden gem #realportuguesechicken?
The food is excellent, some of the best chicken I've eaten in Montreal - however, as others have mentioned the service staff is INCREDIBLY rude (one of the downsides of keeping the business in the family). Additionally, when walking by, I've noticed the cook staff are often wearing their masks either under their nose or under their chin. Combined with the fact that you can see them rubbing their nose with back of their hand, I would suggest avoiding this place until the pandemic is fully over - assuming it ever is.
Possibly the best Poutine I ever had in my entire life.
Ordered 2 chicken platters tonight. Chicken was raw in the centre. This was disappointing and dangerous to say the least. It was my first ordering from this place and it will be the last. Very very disappointed.

The quality of the food is variable and quite frankly doesn't justify how incredibly rude the people working there are. It's unbelievable. The rudest service I've experienced living in Montreal for over a decade.I used to put up with it but the way they even treat RETURN customers is baffling and I've had enough.I won't be ordering from here again.
Food wasnt spicy, chicken was small, fries were dried even the salad dressing had no flavour. Overpriced and flavourless.

I love the food here, but always expect a wait. If they say your order will be ready at 6:30 expect it to be ready for 7 or even 7:30. I always plan with that in mind, it's always been worth the wait though.The only thing on the menu that didn't appeal to me, are the sardines. I wouldn't order those again.
