Really nice and good Poutine au polet and also a Chicken sandwich.Service was really good, cashier/probably owner was really nice.A little bit stuffy during hot weather inside, they have an outside terrace but it was raining.Food is good
Coco Rico makes the most delicious chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life hands down, and the little Pastel de Nata tart makes a wonderful desert.I'll make it a point to check out the rest of the menu items soon. The great service and friendly staff are a bonus.
We were going to go to Schwartz Deli for some lunch while visiting Montreal but the line was too long and we weren't willing to wait as we were quite hungry. We saw Rôtisserie Coco Rico next door and decided to eat here instead as the line wasn't as lengthy. We were so glad we did, delicious food, really friendly staff, none more so than the women who I believe was the owner. The food was so good we went again the next day despite there being no line for Schwartz Deli. Definitely try the Pasteis de Nata.
Went on a Friday night around 10:45 PM, line was out the door, had the half chicken with roasted potatoes and salad, it was good, perfect to go along with a beer too! It’s not something that’ll blow your mind, it’s not over the top, it just works! Montreal staple! I love the roasted potatoes…..something so simple is just so good! Btw, indoor/outdoor seating are available!
Great poutine with Poulet!!! Huge portion. Great tasting chicken. A bonus, it was served with smiles from the staff ?
the nata is okay but the chicken poutine is far from what I expected. In my opinion, the fries are overcooked and the gravy is not very tasty. But I understand that some people might like this.To Restaurant Owner: Thanks for replying to my review! I understand that I might had some bias, therefore I updated my description
The food is always very good and the service was very friendly until I got to the cash to whom I presume to be the owner was quite rude, wouldn't give me a paper bag even though my poutine was overflowing with gravy. I had to ask for a fork as she reluctantly gave me one and when I asked for napkins she gave me 1 napkin with an attitude. I was very happy with everything until I got to the cash and left there quite annoyed.
The restaurant is a great place and they have the friendliest workers. The food is great but I typically go there for their Portuguese desert “nata” but this time I wasn’t satisfied with the sizing and the flavour. They’re typically much bigger and cost less. I hope they can bring back the original recipe but other than that everything is good. (2 star rating for the natas)
Food is fresh and affordable - great for a weeknight dinner with friends! Nothing special but definitely worth your money. Would recommend the family meal. Try to avoid the fries -- the potatoes are much better!
Went in this amazing Portuguese rotisserie in Montréal to purchase lots of natas and amazing corn breads for my family in Ottawa... yummy!!
